Xavier 🥺
I hope I can watch Fishies chapters tomorrow when my little one is at her grandma's.
Asiaphobia is the reaction to a video I saw of a (presumably) Korean man in Germany who used (what is considered) fancy language to apologise and express regret for an accident he did on the road. I opened the comments and saw “bro spoke Japanese in German”. Like, I guess this is also orientalist in a way (implying JP is inherently poetic and eloquent) but also generalisation because the man’s last name was Park (hence the assumption that he may be Korean) (I know his last name because the video was from a news coverage).

This is asiaphobia.
