Good Girls Don't Scratch || Poppy & DJ
Too bad Poppy wasn’t like every other girl, it would take more than just a few drinks, a charming smile and some sweet talk to get her in bed. His words weren’t exactly reassuring and perhaps she would have liked to dance if he wouldn’t get so damn close. She flashed him a small but sweet smile as she placed her hand against his chest, gently pushing him back until he was at a somewhat comfortable distance, with the emphasis on somewhat.
For a while she allowed him to dance with her, hoping that he would leave her alone once he got what he wanted. It didn’t really matter if she was dancing by herself or with someone else, and she didn’t really care as long as he wasn’t grinding up against her. Despite that, her gaze still moved along the faces in the crowd as she tried to spot her friends, she wasn’t in the party mood anymore and she just wanted to go home.
After a moment or two, she leaned in closer so that he could actually hear what she was saying. “I should go, my friends are waiting for me.” She pretty much shouted over the music before she pulled away and offered him another small but sweet smile. It was a lie, she had no idea where her friends were, but she wanted to get out of here. Without waiting for a response, she tried to make her way through the crowd so that she could get her coat and at least head outside.
Although a little annoyed with her pushing him away, Daejung settled for having a small gap between them, it didn't matter much since he would close it later anyway. He bit his lip and narrowed his eyes, watching her. She was looking for someone to help her. 'Tch, the cheek,' he thought . Why would she want to get away from a hot guy who's giving her attention, isn't it what every girl wants? Maybe he needed to try harder, rather than going in straight he could get around it with a few compliments.
He danced with her a while, just innocently swaying and matching her moves with his own before he opened his mouth to start a casual conversation, small-talk, maybe. Instead she leaned in and he blinked, wondering if she was about to kiss him already but instead she just shouted over the music. He rolled his eyes and frowned, watching as she pulled away and disappeared through the crowd.
It might have been alcohol influenced or just his natural tendency of overreacting but he felt the anger toward that girl bubble up inside of him and quickly strode after her, pushing through the crowd. His brows were furrowed deeply and he luckily caught sight of her putting on her coat. He grabbed his own and pulled it on, following her out into the night air. If it were any other situation the fresh air would have made him feel better but with the girl on his mind he only felt worse.
Daejung finally spotted the girl walking alone. She even lied, it only added to the fire upon realisation. Daejung growled softly and quickened his pace before he caught up with the girl and slammed her against the wall a little harder than he planned but it got the message across nonetheless. "Why would you lie, huh?" he kept her pinned, "And I was even nice to you," he scoffed, "Well, I was thinking of going easy on you but now you look like the type who wants it rough."
