youâre not sorry / indie + dahlia
indigo-kay:
Indie swore that she was going to explode. She swore that kissing Dahlia was going to be the end of her, because for some reason, she enjoyed it. And maybe when she was drunk, the girl just knew and was finally honest with herself - it was Dahlia. Those next few moments, Indigo cherished them. She held the girl tight and close, holding her hips, and playing with her hair the way she knew the brunette liked. Her groan was success in Indieâs eyes, and if Dahlia hadnât pulled away, the red head would have kept going. There were stars in Indigoâs eyes. She felt like she was dazed, and all she could do, was stare at Dahlia stupidly, her mouth agape. âI⊠I can see why youâre struggling to deal with it.â Folding her hands in her lap, she looked at the floor, flushing. âI loved it.â Indie admitted, with a sheepish smile spreading across her face. âEvery second of it. Iâd do it again, if you let me, honestly, and Iâm not sure thatâs smart until we figure this out.â Prying her eyes away from the ground, they made contact with Dahliaâs. âDo you⊠want to try this? I mean, a - well - a next level kind of thing? Is that too forward? Donât be afraid to tell me what you think!â
Her body was still burning from being held in Indieâs arms in such a way but Dahlia forced those thoughts to the back of her mind so she could focus on the matter at hand. It would be so easy to get lost in the physical things especially when they were being boosted by how much she already cared about Indie before all of this. Still, sitting in close quarters and inches away from each other, Dahlia didnât want to let go. She didnât want to release her best friend and wanted to hold her and keep that dazed look on her face for as long as she could. âYou did?â she asked, biting on her lip to fight a smile. âNo, youâre right. More of ... that isnât good until we know what weâre doing.â Indieâs question had her tensing up. These were the exact thoughts sheâd been mulling over the night before as she waited to fall asleep. âI donât know, Indie. Youâre my best friend ... if I ever did anything to ruin that, I would never forgive myself. Would this....ruin what we already have?â she asked, even though every fiber in her being wanted to wrap Indie up, keep her safe and keep her happy. âI ... well, now you know what itâs like to be kissed by me so .. you can understand my struggle.â
