I dont understand the hype about drag me down. They are always repeating the same lines. They have waaay better songs.

Oh man, you shouldn’t have come to me with this. You don’t get the HYPE around it? Well let me explain the hype around it. If you use your brain and try and remember 2015 there was something that happened in March… Oh yes. A member quit the band. People basically already wrote 1D off. And then, out of the blue, after the fans did something as amazing as the No Control Project to show that we’re still here and that we love and support them and their music, they go and release a surprise single for a new album that wasn’t announced yet. And that song not only sounds absolutely amazing and very different to other first singles like Steal My Girl or Best Song Ever. no, the chorus says, and repeats over and over again WITH YOUR LOVE NOBODY CAN DRAG ME DOWN. WHAT A FUCKING IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO SEND THE WORLD AND THEIR FANS AT THAT POINT IN TIME. The song means so much to people because of that. And besides that, the boys sound incredible singing it, and damn, they put it at the end of their set list and it was the last song they played on tour AND GO LOOK FOR VIDEOS OF THEM PERFORMING THE SONG. look at how the fans sang the song back to them, how everyone always loved every single moment of the song. The song just MEANS so much. And that, my dear, is the hype around it.
