Continuing from my re-drawing of all of our characters from our Draw Steel campaign, I tackled Ghel, the Revenant Hakaan Talent. At this stage of the campaign, he flies, and is now equipped with the Crystal of Fire.

Drawing Process Time Lapse: Theo, the Earth Elementalist

I have started redrawing all of the characters from our current Draw Steel campaign. This is Theo, an Elementalist wielding a power crystal and a green staff. His powers allow him to move earth.

In the background is Charlie, his Crow Familiar.

I finally got around to drawing another character from our Draw Steel campaign. This is Borg, an orc fury and retired gladiator. He wields two weapons as part of his kit and proudly wears his Hellcharger Helm, as he leaps and bounds across the battlefield! I decided to take another stab at drawing Lord Fionn mc Culhain, Protector of Broadhurst, from our current Draw Steel campaign. I tried to get him to look more "rocky" and his hair more crystalline. It was fun!

Kirk is a shadow from our Draw Steel campaign. He has an interesting ability: he can make himself appear quite innocuous and non-threatening (the rules discuss the character appearing as a capybara). I thought this was a cool idea to draw: make you focus on the animal, and while you are distracted, Kirk strikes!

We're now a couple of months into our Draw Steel campaign and it's going pretty well. The characters are beginning to get fleshed out. This is especially true for Borg, the orc gladiator who favours leaping across the battlefield and into holes created by the elementalist. So it seemed like a good reason to revisit his portrait.

Enjoy this latest time lapse of my digital drawing process. The drawing as a whole took me about 3+ hours, but I scrunched it down to 6 minutes.
