David stared at the carrier, eyebrows pulled sharp over his visible eye. “That’s a mouse,” he said flatly, pointing at the critter, but keeping his arm suspiciously close to his body, like he was afraid the jerboa would jump out at him. It only served to get his elbow smashed against his side when Lenny can running over, pure delight on his face.

“Duuuude, look at that thing’s legs! They’re like a kangaroo! Oh-oh, do you think it can punch like one?!”

Alessandra grinned savagely, showing all her teeth to her friends. "I think you're both missing the fact that the jerboa is named 'David'. It's a 'David jerboa'. You're a jerboaaaaaa!"

David’s face turned as green as his eyes, and he snapped out his pool cue, leaping up and balancing on the tip.

Alessandra looked up at him, a little impressed, then rolled up her sleeves. “Alright, we can’t have any more of this. Poor thing’s going to get hurt in this treehouse! You got some treats for this jerboa?”

As much as the little fella was scurrying on its own twindly twig legs around the treehouse. There WAS a note on the carrier. It read as this…

There are some sustenances for David Jerboa. Mainly seeds, dried insects, and moist vegetation that's in his carrier. I wanna note, that uh— I suggest not trying to physically look panicked or afraid. I fear, that it knows, I don't how—It just can be able to recognize fear. And he can be a little troublemaker... Unfortunately, it seems like the Jerboa seems to sense it's human doppelganger(?) look-alike. So while it was springing around the room it noticed the REAL David—

Bruce was doing his absolute best not to laugh at the absurdity of the situation, but it was an uphill battle. “Okay, someone needs to get Numbuh 0.5, she’s the one who’ll be able to get this vaguely-Guinea-pig-shaped critter under control.”

“What about me?!” David snapped, now standing on top of the cue as well as he could, but it didn’t take long for the jerboa to make him take a leap to the nearest couch. “That thing has it out for me! And it has a WIG!”

The silly-little shaped Rodent took a pause to look at the KND operative who said it. It seems like the David Jerboa was now offended. It glanced at the human version of itself, its beady black orbs now seem to be asking— You dare call this a wig?— type stare.

It stuck its tongue out before it started it advancing towards the couch. It's as if determined to make contact with its human look-alike. Although you could hear soft squeaks as if it was giggling over the concept of the hilarity of this situation.

Animated my headcanon for Windsor that he adjusts his tie and licks his lips as a nervous or annoyed tic

I love slapping minor animal behaviors onto characters, and since he has the thing with the snake ties I thought it’d be fun to have him do the human equivalent of flicking his tongue out like a snake :)
