Hey guys it's Em I'm sorry I haven't posted much I've just been really stressed out about school but I promise I'll be back now :) I love you all -Em
Being suicidal doesn't necessarily mean you're holding a gun to your head.
Sometimes, it means smoking a cigarette in the hopes that you’ll get cancer and die. Or jaywalking across the street without looking, because you don’t care if you get hit by a car. Sometimes it means having sex with a stranger, hoping you’ll get an STD and die. Or not sleeping and not eating in the hopes that the exhaustion will kill you. Or even not washing your hands in the hopes that you’ll get sick and die. Sometimes it means being cruel to the people you love or ignoring them, because if they leave you’ll have less reason to go on living. Or not setting your alarm for work, so you’ll get fired and have less of a purpose. Sometimes it means partying hard in the hopes that your liver will fail and you’ll die. Or putting yourself in dangerous and potentially painful situations, so maybe it’ll be the last straw. Being suicidal doesn’t necessarily mean trying to die. A lot of times, it means not putting any effort into living.
This actually just made me realize i was suicidal thank you
This just hit me so hard…
worrying about new classmates
honestly, the only advice I can give on this is that you have to be or at least pretend to be confident!
No one will bother you if they realize they can’t get to you - even if they do - don’t let them know.
Be confident, go to the class and show them how cool & amazing you are!
Start conversations of people and don’t avoid them - go up to them and make random small talk!
I went to a new class 6 times now and this really helped me every time, even though I was anxious on the inside & I just wanted to hide but I didn’t & ended up making friends. Don’t let them know how anxious you are & you’ll be fine.
You have to show interest even if you couldn’t care less. Ask them how their holidays were and if they went away.

worrying about grades
are you worried about failing classes? there are 2 things you can do
you either study even harder and concentrate on school
or
you have to think about changing school. if all the school you go to is give you unnessacary stress it might not be the right thing for you & your future! it is important that you choose what you want to do - if it really is what you want to do then nothing is holding you back! you can do it !
now I know all of this is easier said than done right? BUT spend less time worrying about it & more time with telling yourself that you are good enough for this & that you can do this! You have to believe in yourself.
Grades don't define you or your intelligance! Even the smartest kids have bad grades sometimes. So what? It's just a stupid number. And if you keep having bad grades think about getting help, there’s nothing bad about it! I know it's not easy but there is a lot you can do & if you can't afford a tutor there are a lot of internet websides that are for free where you can study & do exercises.

going back to school
so some people are back to school already, I started today & it was really hard for me since I haven't been to school in the last past 7 months :) But all of us can do it! i'll post some advice asap!!
sometimes self care is cancelling an appointment and watching tv and letting yourself nap. Sometimes those things are are ways of exaerbating your anxiety and stress.
sometimes self care is powering through to go to that appointment, to finish that project. and sometimes that can cause breakdowns and panic attacks
there isn’t one right way to do self care. what works for one person can be dangerous or irrelevant to another
and thats ok? you aren’t wrong or weird for not responding or needing to treat yourself differently then how you see other people do it.
our mental states are all unique, and it goes to follow that self care is exactly the same

a lot of people selfharm because they feel numb. one alternative to selfharm but still feeling something is going out & walking around barefeet. another one is to put little stones into your shoes & walk around like that. those are just 2 out of many alternatives. -shan
