I like thrips :] But I never hear anyone talk about thrips. I don't know anyone who's favorite bugs are thrips. I feel like most people wouldn't notice if a game about bugs didn't have any thrips
ANYWAY I MADE A BUNCH OF THEM ENJOY
last couple months' worth of bee identifications. every orange tag denotes a separate species. my coleopterist grad advisor is spinning in his grave
at some point it would be fun to post a big compilation of some of the prettier and weirder bees i've come across during this project. just gotta find the time to photograph them. in the meantime though here's some Osmia, a genus of bees exactly as nightmarish to identify to species as they are pretty.
