please god im sorry i saw u helped someone else find a fic ive been searching for days but do you happen to know this one somewhat older fic (i think i read it in 2022??) on AO3 where Shinoa and Yuu had gotten married in the past (older ofc) but had gotten divorced before their child was born, and Shinoa got with mitsuba very shortly after. the fic followed yuu and mika on the night Shinoa goes into labor and it’s from Mika’s perspective, he’s reflecting on the years he’s loved Yuuichiro, and Yuu says the lines “everyone thinks shinoa and i broke up because she was gay, but the truth is that its because i am.” And ik it got smutty at the end but i always skipped that part so i couldnt tell u what happened there.
So sorry to beg in ur inbox, this is my fav Mikayuu fic ever and ive misplaced it somehow. Can’t remember the title, but i think the description was something about the paraphrased quote above.
