A long time ago I had an idea for a Pokémon fic that I laughed off and then I kept thinking about it and talking about it and writing out bits of it and now I'm in it. Come join me. It's been a wonderful experience so far and I'm so excited to share it.
Summary:
Red’s parents were murdered by Team Rocket when he was a baby, so he grew up in Pallet Town with his Aunt Delia and cousin, Ash. He’s always wanted to be a cool Pokémon Master like Ash but instead he has nightmares and panic attacks. The only good thing about him is his ability to understand pokémon.
Then one day he gets invited to a school in Paldea, finds out he’s actually a magical Arceus-chosen demi-god to a group of elf-like people he never knew existed, and a lot of people want to kill him over it. Oh well, at least school should be fun, right?
'Solar Red' is a mixed-canon fantasy AU about overcoming your self-imposed limitations and societal roles alike to become who you want to be. It will be extremely long.
