A/N: I had the absolute best intentions to get this story done by the EFE deadline, but alas, it’s not finished. This is the first chapter, more to come. This was an amazing prompt and I have loved revisiting some of my favorite Jane Austen stories for inspiration. I have more in store for these two.

This is really difficult for me to do but I have literally no other option and need help. My 7 year old starts school tomorrow where he will wear a uniform, this was unplanned the school he was attending refused to enroll him and did not tell me until last Friday so I had to scramble to figure out what to do and this is my only option. We have no clothes that fit the uniform policy. The school is also 20 miles away. On top of that my desk broke. I am already negative in my bank account. Welcome to the first “Once Upon a Time… Everlark” challenge.

If you want to participate is very easy!

1. Submit a prompt, in our ask “ Submit OUAT prompt” We’ll be open for prompt submissions from April 11th to May 1st)

Prompts and Fics must feature Everlark as a pairing and must based on a book, TV show, movie or myth and they can be canon compliant, canon divergent, or any kind of AU.

2. Choose a prompt from the list and tell us about it.

- Chosen prompts will be removed from the list so that there will only be one fic/artwork per prompt.

- You can choose as many prompts as you want. The only requisite is to post in the timeframe we allow.

3. Write your fic or create your artwork. Fics can be as short as 500 words or as long as you like. They can be one-shots, out-takes from any one of your fics or multi chapter. The work must cover the details provided in the prompt.

4. Submit your finished fic or artwork in our “Submit your OUATE fic”Finished works will be posted from May 1st to May 31st.

NOTE: You can send a prompt and not write a fic, and you can write a fic without submitting a prompt.
