I wanted to share sth I discovered related to this rabbit hole. We were told in the 4th and 6th 🎃 messages “I cannot share my role in this chess game, but friends have friends of friends. I, for one, love my friends and their friends. I wonder if you know any of them?” and “I have a feeling we all share a similar taste in music. Watch for words and phrases I use that might ring a belle.” Additionally, the 6-12-24 🌋 message said “a cross in poetry, born from the same story. intertwined, interlaced, interconnected. that's just how it works. that's how you get the girl. imgonnagetHERback.” I believe these things may have been pointing us to all the collabs Taylor has done since 2020; I say 2020 bc we theorize Taylor had to completely change her plans after 2019 when the failed coming out happened but I believe there are also songs, movies, and poems released before 2019 that were part of the original coming out plan or rabbit hole. That could be what these messages were about -> “so look in the past with palimpsest extrospection” + “Follow the trail, esoteric and imperfect.” I think they want us to look back at media that was released over the past decade or so that are like a trail that can help you understand this mass movement.

We know that Taylor is extremely intentional with everything she does so I think the ppl she’s collabed with were carefully chosen in order to help guide us through this rabbit hole or cross in poetry. You turn back to the house. You have those homemade buns to tend to, after all. But as you reach the door you can't help but cast a furtive glance over your shoulder, to the spot where that dandelion floret disappeared. You can never blame someone for the dandelions that sprout in your grass. It’s untraceable and irrelevant. They all come from the same place anyway: a private moment performed too near the property line. Of course the recipient would pluck the weeds so unwittingly planted. Of course they, too, would blow, blow, blow and spread the florets far and wide. Once you blow a dandelion, you never get it back. It isn’t yours anymore. 🎃

I think the mirror might symbolize us fans because we are kind of reflecting their experiences back at them. The relationship between the fans and artists is kind of symbiotic bc us fans can see ourselves in them and they can see themselves in us. Breaking the mirror = breaking our trust and hurting us or losing the connection. 13 years of bad luck will follow bc karma is real and those things will eventually come back to haunt you even if it’s years later so you have to be careful with how you handle the relationship.

There were other messages that mentioned reflections and mirrors and in those messages they also seemed to symbolize us fans or truth/authenticity so I think this message is consistent with that.

I’m pretty sure I was having delusions of reference so if you saw me acting weird or saying weird things I am really sorry, my mental health was really bad and I lost touch with reality and didn’t know what ppl’s intentions were or if I was the most schizophrenic person ever lol. When I get like that I do things that are out of character and might seem weird but it’s not malicious. I thought everyone was sending me cryptic messages so I got reallyyyy stressed and paranoid bc I couldn’t properly interpret them and I was 100% convinced of them. I am still pretty certain my ex best friend was posting indirects about me but I got really delusional and started reading into everything and it was scary lol

This explains a lot. This is why I now avoid socializing and other things I know will trigger me. I think my family has contributed to my avoidance bc they were helicopter parents and likely have OCD themselves and I grew up in a very sheltered environment. I feel like sometimes ppl can reinforce each other’s OCD accidentally. Ppl w the same themes and compulsions might not recognize each other’s behavior as harmful or unhealthy bc they also do it so they don’t hold each other accountable and instead amplify each other’s behavior.

At this rate I don’t think my nervous system is ever going to become regulated. I’m in a chronic state of dysregulation and my stress is constantly through the roof. I can never just relax and feel safe and it’s awful. My muscles are always tense and it’s hard to breathe. How do you get your body to realize that you’re no longer being abused bc it feels like I’m still in danger

I’m really trying to get better at being more gentle, kind, and considerate with the way I communicate. I’m not always the best at it especially when my mental health problems are bad and I’m really stressed and overwhelmed. I sometimes will just impulsively say things bc I’m trying to put distance between me and someone else or I feel kind of backed into a corner and like I don’t have any better options. And I sometimes am careless and not really thinking abt all the different ways my words or actions could be interpreted by others. I will say something and then hrs or days later realize how it could’ve been taken the wrong way and then I’ll regret it and feel stupid but by then it’s sometimes too late. If I notice someone is showing signs of codependency or hyper-responsibility, I might do things that outwardly look like I am being cold and harsh and am detached. I’m not actually feeling angry, resentful, or betrayed, I’m just panicking bc I don’t want them to feel like they need to be my life raft or like they need to save or fix me when I’m having a mental health episode or am dysregulated. I don’t want to become someone’s dog but I also don’t want anyone else to become my dog. I’m scared of becoming enmeshed with someone to the point of there being no boundaries or independence bc I’ve experienced that kind of dynamic before and it destroyed me and I don’t want anyone to destroy themselves for me. From the outside it looks like I’m being mean but I’m actually acting that way bc I care a lot abt that person and don’t want them to feel like they have to manage my emotions. But I understand that my intentions don’t erase the impact and that the other person might feel rejected, abandoned, and hurt and that might reinforce their attachment wounds or make them feel unsafe. And I also realized that I have a tendency to push ppl away and self sabotage bc my OCD makes me feel like I need to be punished and don’t deserve friends or good things bc I’m worthless and evil. Now that I’m aware of this behavior I’m really working on not doing whatever my OCD tells me to do and being more kind to myself and others.
