Communities are a useless feature.

No way to post from a sub blog, which is 99% of peoples blogs. Most people want these for roleplaying, so it was worthless.

Community posts do not appear on your dashboard.

You get zero notifications for new posts to a community. This was just fixed.

There is no hub or blog for the community. It is just a dashboard.

Tagging is basically pointless because there is no way to search tags in a community, it goes straight to site by default and community posts do not appear in site search.

The feature is pointless. Fix or remove. @staff @humans

I’ve been asked many times what someone should look for when trying to find a good artist. The best way you can do this is to look at their portfolio, whether it’s in a book at their shop or online. If they don’t have good work in their portfolio, they’re probably not good artists.

The shop may be clean, the people there might be nice, and the design they draw up for you might be exactly what you want, but if your artist doesn’t stand up to the points listed above, then you’re going to get a bad tattoo.

It’s okay to walk into a shop, talk with an artist for a while, and decide you don’t want a tattoo from them. Even if the artist has a bad attitude about it or tries to convince you to just let them do it, remember this is going to be on your body for the rest of your life.

honestly if your main goal in queer rights so to make sure there are very clearly defined lines around each of the crafted sexuality and gender concepts that have been socially approved, you aint actually gonna be helpin us out at all. the system we’re building those lines in is the “social construction” of gender and sexuality. building within its framework means the building is still there, its just harder to get around in now.

what im tryin to say is the reason that we keep having all these arguments on if we should use pan or can you say youre a lesbian when youre dating a nonbinary person is because the social constructions bad and just dropping the term pan for bi wont fix that. youre wasting your time.
