Dolly started off her 2026 with some Qs! We had an off day on Saturday and while we had some really fun runs, we didn’t earn any Qs. Today, Sunday, she earned her first Qs in Open FAST P and Excellent JWW P. Such a good girlie! We came close to a Q in Excellent Standard P but missed the weave pole entry. Fun and challenging courses!

Very proud of Miss FancyPants Dolly!

She ran in AKC agility this past weekend in Novice FAST P, Novice Standard P, and Novice JWW. Out of 6 runs, she Qed in 5.

Dolly finished her Novice Agility P (NAP) title, her Novice Jumpers P (NJP) title, and earned 2 Qs toward her Novice FAST P (NFP). Fittingly, her “new title” ribbons are pink..!! 💕😄

Link ran this weekend too, after a 3-month hiatus for a toe injury. He didn’t Q this weekend but had a lot of fun.

We got to spend some quality time with Miss Mochi, who earned her AJP (whooohooo), and Kepler, who earned his first 2 Qs toward his NAP and 1 Q toward his NJP! Hubble was there for moral support!

Thank you to the Santa Ana Valley Kennel Club for holding their annual show this weekend.

On Friday, Dolly earned her 3rd qualifying score (Q) and a 3rd place finish (91!) in Rally Excellent and finished her AKC Rally Excellent title! She moved up to trial in the Master class. Link earned his 5th Q with a score of 93!

On Saturday, Link earned his 6th Q (out of 10 needed) but Dolly was tired from heat and mugginess and had trouble focusing. No Q for her.

On Sunday, Link had a beautiful run but the lady missed a sign and it was an NQ. 🥲 Dolly earned her first Q toward her Rally Master title!

Very proud of how Link and Dolly worked. Such great pups!

Miss Fancy Pants Dolly had 4 runs in AKC agility this past weekend and went 4/4 with her very first qualifying scores toward her Novice Standard P and Novice JWW P titles. Very proud of her progress and our continuing teamwork. Her agility debut about a year and a half ago was 0/6, lol…!

Since then, we have continued near weekly classes with a focus on just having fun. Despite us having only been to class one time in the last 10 weeks due to work and other scheduling conflicts, Dolly was eager and happy to run. 💛

So very proud of this amazing little lady.

We had a break from agility the last 2 months and made our return this weekend!

Link earned his Excellent FAST Preferred title with a 1st place finish. We had fun on our other runs (especially the Excellent JWW!!) but didn’t Q. Link is such a Good Boi™️

Miss Dolly earned her NW2 title with an overall 2nd place finish for fastest total time, and a 1st place finish in containers…! (There were 4 NW2 titles earned out of a total of 27 teams.) The judges also recognized our two container searches and our one interior searches as pronounced.

We are very thankful to our judges, CO, hosts, and volunteers.
