5 years ago I took a solo trip yo my village about 800km fron the capital. It took me about 11 hours driving. I went to visit my grandmother before i left to pursue for my Masters. Being able to travel alobe without anyone guiding me to the village is such a blessing brcause you realise how much you know where part of you comes from. It also gave me time to reflect and see how our people are living. Its a very tough life, and i have so much respect for people in the village. #Zambia is not evenly distributed in terms of wealth sharing and development. Luapula provincr and other provinces are so under developed. My father left the villages over 5 decades ago but life has not changed much. No industries, fish is almost finished in the lakes, no jobs and people have lost home. I would love to see young #Zambians to think about these issues because we will have a major social disaster in the next decade. #Zambia is not lusaka or the main cities in copper belt. its also other provinces, thats why we have issues such as Barotse problem and if we keep thinking of how.mich money o need to make for me, we will find ourselves with big houses and afraid to live comfortably because of violence, thieves who are a product of greedy politicians and civil servants. we are the change. we need to do something about it. #ProudlyZambian
