Dallas was having a pretty great start to her day! A winning lottery ticket she bought last night while she was drunk off her ass after a party and no hangover. Things seemed to be great. Dallas stepped to the side to miss all the incoming sea of people, staring at the little ticket and stood against the wall. Reading over her winnings she took a big breath in. This couldn’t have been real right? This was completely fake. There was no way on Earth that she won this much. It wasn’t anything spectacular but definitely $200+ more than she originally had and a profit off the tickets she spent originally. She stood staring at the little paper with a big ol’ smile on her face, burying her face into the palm of her hand, letting out a happy squeak.

Eva got a good look at the blonde as she walked up, resulting in the darkening of the schoolteacher’s cheeks. Clearly, there was something in the water in Nashville because the food was fine, but the people were finer. “In a way, I suppose I am, yeah!” Eva replied, shooting the other a wink and tilting her head towards the open school building door (that was ever-so-deftly propped up by a large weight Winnie the Pooh plush), “One of the teachers here retired at Christmas, so I was able to fill her position starting back in January. However, the turnaround was so quick a few of my belongings didn’t make it or, in the case of what we have today, a friend of mine brought up because I was too paranoid to throw them on a moving truck. Sentimental value and what have you.”
Eva walked briskly alongside the other, not wanting to bog down the time of this beautiful woman more so than she already was. “I have made about a dozen trips, so I am eternally grateful for you coming to my rescue. I’m Evangeline Otterbourne, but most folks call me Eva. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss…?”
Dallas froze in place for a moment with the wink. She hasn’t had anyone wink at her in such a long time, excluding creepy men who clearly cannot tell she’s the BIGGEST lesbian. Her split tongue glided across the opposite ends of her lips as she continued walking again. A deep red dusting along her ivory cheeks as she listened. Those blue topaz eyes glued to the box in front of her as to avoid embarrassing herself in front of such a beautiful woman. She nodded along politely as she gripped the box a little tighter after hearing the sentimental value part. Once they were inside, she set the box down carefully and shook her hands off.
“Dallas Giovanni Karlsson. My friends call me Dal or Gio. Or Dallas. Really, I answer to anything. You could even call me Wall-E because I, too, am a little trash robot. You know like- Eva and Wall-E? Or was it Eve? Either way I am just.. gay trash.” Once she realized she was nervously rambling, Dallas went quiet for a moment. Already a nervous fucking wreck in front of someone she just met. Overthinking usually got the best of her. No one has looked at her like that in such a long time it honestly made her nerves higher. But was she looking at her like she was interested? Was Dallas just completely just overthinking this? She rubbed the back of her neck for a moment as she looked around the room. Eva was definitely one of the most beautiful women she’s met yet and she wanted to make a good impression but she didn’t want to seem like a total bore. Say something! She thought. “Where did you move from?” She asked, trying to avoid eye contact again as she watched her fingers lace together in front of her.

“Pavement can caress The treads of my distress Grip onto cow that Is my seat and speed the plow Your words were gentle oh Reflected in my window I knew You would be the kind of girl That I could talk to
And you seem like your kinda strange Why can’t you be a little less insane…”
Richard was singing along to the lyrics he’d just written down, trying to get the chords down. However, he’d ended up getting stuck at a line, tipping his head to the side. “Why can’t you be a little less insane… Insaaane…” He sang softly to himself as he tried to figure out what lyric to write down next. Letting out a sigh, he pinched the bridge of his nose after a moment. Then he saw someone walking past that he recognized, a little excited they were there. “Hey! Do you mind taking a look at this? I’m a little bit stuck right now..”
A coffee fueled and a sleep deprived day had the Swede more jittery than ever. It was time for coffee number 3 to hold her over. She looked over the sea of people surrounding her. Looking so rested and alive, to say the least. It certainly didn’t feel too great to have creeping anxiety. Lighting a cigarette and taking a drag soon after, she was on her way back home to nurse her poor sleepless self.
However hearing a familiar voice call her over made her change her plans for the moment. Dallas read through the lyrics and thought to herself for a moment, scratching her head. Holding the cigarette between her lips, she read through the lyrics. “I’m no poet or anything but maybe,” she let out a small sigh, the gears in her brain starting to turn but self doubt slowly creeping in, “how her kind eyes hold the perfect disguise, she’s the match and you’re the fire- no. No that’s stupid. I-I’m sorry, I’m no help.” She handed him the paper back and took a long drag of the cig, blowing the smoke away from him. “Did you have something specific in mind?”
Howdy there [KRISTEN STEWART]! Oh, no, you’re just [DALLAS KARLSSON], the [27] year old [FEMALE], who is a [WAITRESS]. Sorry, pal. I heard you’re [INSECURE] and [EMOTIONAL], but I’ve also heard you’re [SPONTANEOUS] and [CARING] and I hear you’ve been here for [3 MONTHS]! I hope you’re settling in well here!

“-ngh! There we are…” Eva muttered to herself as she hoisted the art piece across her slender shoulders. A dear friend of hers had come to town to bring some pieces that Eva could quite fit into the U-Haul from Georgia to Tennessee, and she was finally getting around to bringing them to the school. Looking up, she happened to notice someone walking by and called out to them in her honeysuckle-sweet voice.
“E-Excuse me! I’m so sorry, b-but I don’t suppose you’d be able to help a lady out and carry this last box for me. I’m about at the end of my rope goin’ back and forth haulin’ this stuff.”
Nervous, was all that could be said about Dallas’ current state. Her boss seemed to need her at work sooner than she had expected but here’s hoping it wasn’t for anything she’s done wrong. Blonde hair dangles in front of her face as she watches her feet as she walks. The sweet as honey voice catches her attention.
“Yeah, yeah-” Dallas picked up the last box of hers, hoisting it up and waited for the other to lead the way. “You moving in or something?” She asked shyly.
