Sometimes sleep is the only relief you get

I feel like my entire life I’ve spent it trying to get out of the deep end of a pool, and every time I start to reach the shallow I misstep and I fall back into the deep and every time I fall back into the deep it’s getting harder and harder for me to swim up to the surface and try again . .

How much try is left in me? How much fight?

I’m so tired . I am so tired .

I am drowning , my lungs hurt, my eyes burn from the chlorine , my muscles grow heavy .. time is moving slower , it’s getting darker, it’s so cold now .

Maybe if I stop fighting I’ll just float to the top, I won’t be there but I’ll have found peace .
