“There is only paste and paper, layered over and over / In an impossible way that culminated in you.”
Please take pride in your humanity, it is the most beautiful thing you will ever possess. Do not ache to be rid of your sadness, do not pine for a different face or body or personality, do not do not do not waste your precious, priceless time on boys when there is so much more that is waiting for you.
Take care of yourself out there.

i swear if this is all i ever do, it’ll be enough.
over hills and under hills my path has led.
silly words strung together as carefully as pearls upon a silver thread.

"I'm claiming the right to be unhappy."
TL;DR 01/52: One of my new year’s resolutions was to read one book every week. Well, it’s day two of 2017, and I just finished BRAVE NEW WORLD (title borrowed from Shakespeare’s TEMPEST) by Aldous Huxley. (First of all, can we take a hot second to appreciate that fabulous non-pseudonym name). I was totally bashing this book and everything Huxley stood for until I read chapters 16 & 17. They are incredibly thought-provoking.
TL;DR —Huxley’s BRAVE NEW WORLD is a commentary on the emptiness of living only the pleasurable side of life.
here is my wish for you in 2017: to find your way away from people who hurt you and to find your way into people who do not hurt you.
take care of yourself out there.
