Sun wasn’t sure what was happening at the moment. One moment he was telling Blake about something Scarlet did that was pretty hilarious, the next moment, he was against the wall and he was tasting the tea they just had along with her lips. Mentally shrugging he went with it, returning the kiss. In Sun’s mind, if he hot brooding chick wants you, who are you to argue?

“Oh.” Was his simple reply as she nuzzled against him. “Cool.” In Sun-anese, that meant he was overjoyed by the prospect of making out with Blake. If Neptune was here, he’d probably translate, but luckily he was not here, and Sun didn’t have to deal with Mr. Cool messing with him for stuttering uncool like. And that would be uncool.

Blake was just fine standing there, her arms propped up on Sun’s shoulders, leaning against him, borrowing his strength... It was nicer than anything she had done in a long time. Golden hues flutter shut as she let out a long, slow breath, relaxing muscles she hadn’t even realized she had tensed. Sun always managed to do this to her, though at the moment she had no idea why.

And she wasn’t going to complain. She was simply content now, and for one single moment...

Everything was right with the world.

“No.I mean Yes. I mean…” At this point Sun was flustered. “What I mean to say is…” And he stopped there. What did he mean to say? That kissing Blake was the best thing ever? Because it totally was. But like he didn’t want to push the issue and not get Blake kisses. Cause that’ll totally suck, and he didn’t want to lose that. Cause Blake was cool! And hot! And probably the first girl who saw him for himself and not his body. “I would like to kiss you a lot more, if you’re cool with that I mean.”

Another soft giggle fell from pale lips as she listened to Sun stutter and stammer and try to come up with something approaching intelligent to say. He was so cute when he got all flustered like this.Blake made a mental note to make this happen more often. With a soft purr, she allowed herself to nuzzle up against Sun’s chest, appreciating how warm the simian was. “I wouldn’t mind that at all.” Her voice was quiet, barely audible over the ambient noise of the street around them. But hey, she knew he could hear her. And that’s all that mattered.

Blake had only been half paying attention to Sun’s words, focusing much harder on simply the sound of his voice. Something about his tone always soothed the feline, she wasn’t quite sure what it was. It wasn’t until his tail twitched out of the corner of her vision that she was shaken from her reverie. And the first thing she did was ask for a kiss. Well. She would only ostensibly call it asking. Pressing her lips to his, Blake let a soft hum leave her lips. It was a long minute before she pulled away, a small smile decorating her face. “Sorry, did I interrupt?”

“No, not at all, I wasn’t talking about anything important anyways.” Sun replied rather dazed. What was he talking about again? He wasn’t sure but what he was sure of was that kiss was amazing. He didn’t know what drove her to lay one on him, but he wasn’t complaining.

“You, ah, want to do that again?” He asked a small smile growing on his face, his tail unintentionally telling his mood as it was swaying behind him lazily, almost reminiscent of a happy dog.

There as a soft purr of a giggle that left Bake’s lips at the other’s dazed response. gently, she let her hands rest on his broad shoulders, her bow giving a small twitch to try and keep up her ruse. “Why, was one not enough?” Her smile twisted up into something almost reminiscent of a playful smirk. What had gotten into her? Not even she knew if she were to be honest. But hey, she was going to follow this proverbial rabbit hole all the way down.

Despite the mask, it was clear that he was lost in thought, and Blake’s voice was barely enough to bring him to attention and distract him. “O-oh… Right.” He groaned, muttering under his breath as he forced himself to straighten up, readying his weapon for what lied ahead.

A soft sigh left her lips as she pulled the cardinal from his reverie. Blake had yet to don her mask, though it was in her hand. Night had fallen upon Beacon, leaving only those will ill intentions to wander it’s halls. In this case, the pair were preparing to leave. Permanently. “Are you alright?”

It wouldn’t do to show worry to the Fang, though she could completely understand why he might be feeling such. It was her job to get them to the safety of the base. After that...? Well, she’d already made plans to stay close. A new recruit he might be, but wet behind the ears he was not. He was ready to pull his weight. And Blake was going to make damn sure that he was treated fairly. She knew Adam.

She knew that he would try to test him.
