When Damian receives his birthday gift from Suren, he has the sudden and terrible thought that he should have been more on guard. After all, what sensible present would send him careening into another dimension?

Suren's past gifts have involved tigers and dinosaurs and booby-trapped treasure chests - but waking up in Jon's arms may just prove to be the worst one yet.

Damian has tried to teach himself - don't take more than he is given. But with a Jon who seems to have given him everything...can he even stop himself from being selfish?

Kissing Jon is a weakness, a vice. It muddles his brain, disarming his defenses and blinding him to the very real threat in front of him. The touch of his lips moving against his own damns him to mortality, he's no better than a man. Any man. Summer heat swells in his chest like a balloon despite Gotham's winter winds whipping at their cheeks, and Damian just has to gasp it out.

There's barely a chance to suck in air before Jon sweeps his tongue between the part in his lips. Just a taste. The electricity that trickles down Damian's spine has him twitching with energy, his fingers curling and uncurling against the nape of Jon's neck, right against the ends of his curls. And there's confidence in the way Jon groans, the sound buzzing against his lips like a lion's purr. He's compelled to taste him back, inexperienced but bold in the way he traces his tongue against his spit sticky mouth.

He's a failure for indulging, for gorging on the taste of his tongue when it meets him in the middle. Jon is able to kiss sounds from his lips, something sharp and tinged in desperation, and he's rightfully embarrassed by it. A colorful whine slips out, but Jon is quick to muffle him, pressing against his mouth insistently. Like he actually likes this, him, them. It makes his heart leap.

It's quite possibly the most juvenile experience he's ever had and there's something fundamentally wrong with his training if this is all it takes to make him buckle.

He hates it.

Jon sounds wet when he pops back, and Damian can feel the chill of rapidly cooling spit hanging from his bottom lip. Or he does before Jon mutters, "Sorry," kisses it away, then chases the quick press of his lips with a drag of his thumb.

He might just need to die.

And just like that, he floats back, looking like he's accomplished something big. If Damian's pulse is deafening in his skull, he wonders what it sounds like to Jon.

"So, I'll see you next weekend?" Jon is already floating backwards.

Fire licks up his back and scalds the tips of his ears. Damian nods stupidly.

When Jon finger guns at him, Damian knows they both need to die. No one can know of this moment. "Cool! See ya then!" He flies away, looking back at Damian the entire time.

Gamer streamer duo! supersons AU

This idea is all crack. It's quite self indulgent and has been spinning in my mind for quite a while so i might as well poop it out on tumblr for @damijonuary. No age up shenanigans. No idea if i'd ever actually write a fanfic for this but who knows. Make it exist and then we roll with the flow.

First of all, they are still Robin and Superboy but they also stream/film silly gaming videos together as their civilian persona. They start off just watching Youtube videos together huddled in front of a screen. Then they get hit with the thought of "what if WE made videos together??!". They start making Youtube videos when they are around 14ish i’d say? They don’t get much attention at the start. I’d say they only start getting popular when they’re 17ish.

Jon has a webcam on while Damian is faceless and the viewers don’t know Damian’s real name or anything. Damian’s "no names on the field" becomes "no names while recording/streaming".

Gamertags:

I feel like Jon would have his name in his usertag. Not full on JonKent, he is more original than that. I have two contenders:

-> @ Jonner, i think the joke of ‘Jonner and Konathan’ makes a great point for a username idea

-> @ JonaTron, EDIT: from @now-listen-here 's comment: Jon is a Transformers fan and the username is a tribute to Megatron

For Damian, I’m not entirely sure what his username would be. I think his gamertag could be a reference to Cheese Vikings (which means that his usertag is likely a stupid cheese pun like @ legend-dairy or smth, which is hilarious to me). Maybe he gets the name of a Cheese Viking's villain cause he’s edgy like that? Also i’m convinced that on multiplayer games, his account has a number tacked at the end of his username. Simply so he can increase the number everytime his account gets banned in game for trashtalking/BM’ing people online ToT (he probably stagnates after the 4th or 5th account lol). For now, let’s say chat calls Damian LegendDairy or just Dairy x)

Damian got HOOKED onto minecraft and raked up an absurd playtime in a week. Imagine the video ends with Damian in leather armor with a small wooden box house and the next video starts off with Damian in full diamond with a mansion.😭😂 Jon, in unenchanted iron armor: … you did all that?? in two days??? what the hay dude.

Damian, throwing Jon a diamond pickaxe: Pick up, we’re going to the Nether.

→ "Playing Portal 2 with a genius is a nightmare": You know damn well there is a death counter on that one. They spend more time killing each other than solving the rooms.

They don't have set roles ever but somehow they always get 5 stars.

They are the most chaotic efficient team you’d ever see.

whenever they play any co-op game ever (like Moving out or overcooked) someone always comments on how they are the most disorganised chaotic somehow efficient duo ever. The comms and coordinations is the most garbled ever but they somehow manage to do an insane job. Or like the comms are so specific to them that the viewers don't know what they are saying but they understood each other perfectly. (Comment: "Jon: *just said some gibberish* Legendairy: *answers some time of ancient forgotten spell or smth* Jon: *shakes his head* no that won't work

Them, as they bicker through the whole level: *proceeds to 5 star one of the hardest levels first try* Bitch what?? HOW?!")

→ "Pokemon Black and White with my soulmate! soul link nuzlocke":

They play a Pokemon nuzlocke soul link (if you don’t know what that is: a nuzlocke is a harder version of Pokemon with a set of rules, one of them being if your pokemon gets KOed it actually dies and u cannot use it anymore. And a soul link is a 2 player nuzlocked in which every pokemon you catch is linked to your teammate’s pokemon so ie if your pokemon dies, your friend’s pokemon also dies.).

Damian made the mistake of renaming one pokemon Titus. Titus survived his fight.. His soul linked twin however....…

U know damn well that Damian never let it down. Damian does something wrong? "well at least i didn't kill Titus." "omg Damian i said i was sorry!! How was i supposed to know he would hit sheer cold?!"

The thumbnail is Jon’s face going 😱 and "he lied, it’s not a cute game" written beside his face.

They have a video playlist where Damian recommends games to Jon, he mostly recommends horror game because he thinks it’s funny how scared Jon gets. Damian would be the type of guy to recommend horror games to Jon and never tell him they are horror games.

Comment: "omg his horrified face when he finds Sayori😭😭🤣🤣 ‘DAMIAN WTF?!’ What a shreek 🤣🤣"

=> Jon also trashtalks people however it doesn’t get picked up by the chat modules as he doesn’t swear. (example: "your life lacks whimsy and it shows.", "your mother would be disappointed in you", "my mother is a better shot than you, actually my GRANDMA is a better shot than you". If someone’s trashtalking him he ragebaits them with "wow what a great round guys. we are so equal in skill") so he rarely gets his game account banned contrary to Damian who’s swearing like there is no tomorrow (he can afford to create as many new accounts as he wish).

=> Even if the game isn’t multiplayer, Damian is on call with Jon as Jon plays through the game or vice versa.

=> Sometimes Damian just drops some insane information as if it’s general knowledge.

Damian: Now that’s just unrealistic. The human body would not explode like that.

Chatter: Dairy, why do you know how a human body explodes??

Another chatter: is it the psychopathy or the ‘tism?

=> Jon would be the type of guy to have the worst setup you ever saw as in it's the weirdest DIWhy ever. Imagine a Tweet: @ Jonner: *posts a picture of his setup* setup reveal! please be nice ToT

@ Legendairy/Damian, replies: What the Fuck am i looking at. Damian: Are my eyes deceiving me or is your microphone stand just a string attached to a cloth hanger wedged by your window handle. Damian: Wait. I've never seen that before. I've been to your house and I for sure would have remembered seeing such an atrocity. Do you set it up each time??? Jon: well.. yes? Damian: It's coming your way. Jon: ???? what.

Jon: WHAT DOES THAT MEAN. The next day: Jon, with a picture of a box containing a mic stand: ah. message received 😭

Just to be a lil shit and piss damian off, Jon keeps using his string + cloth hanger for at least another month.

=> One of their first milestone videos was Jon and Damian playing SmashBros on the same console but Damian is out of camera view. You can just see Damian’s arms as he tries to take away jon’s controller/block his eyes to win the round. This event will be known as "Dairy’s arm/hand reveal".

The first solo milestones video from Damian (no camera just voice) is for hitting 50k subs. The video is him going through their channel’s discord/reddit and doing a Tier list of their subscribers's pets. One of the last category was "this isn’t a pet." which includes someone’s brother who is ranked lower than a Tamagotchi which is in the "this creature enthuses me" category.

On a livestream, Jon accidentally calls Damian by his name and goes "we can cut that out." followed by "…. Jon. We’re live." and chat explodes "Name reveal?! Omg NAME REVEAL!!!".

The first time they did a Fanart review stream as they were in the same room together, Damian got so offended when he saw his persona drawn as a white man. "Who’s God Damn white baby is that?!" "That’s not Damian, that’s IAN 🤣🤣"

=> Fans discover Damian can draw in a video/stream on Roblox or gartic Phone:

→ Jon: y’all didn’t know he’s an artist?

Chat: "y’all didn’t know he’s an artist?" WE DIDN’T KNOW HIS NAME FOR OVER 4 YEARS.

=> Obviously people are shipping them together, Jon discovers that while doing a Fanart review stream. The fanart had them in quite a compromised position. Jon’s face turned RED red as he said "oh that’s some uuuh..nice shading" and it became a reaction pic.

Chat: ‘shading’ JON I THINK YOU MEAN HIS HALF NAKED BODY

Chat: Who sent THAT fanart in?!? There are so many much more tame cute ones omg why would you do thiiiiiis.

People in chat were also screaming about their ship tag on tumblr and ao3. Jon, still red, gets curious and looks up the tag on ao3 and screeches at the ammount of fanfics he finds while he scrolls through them. Jon, as his voice cracks: ..what are those tags… omg guys what have y’all been WRITING. *scared/panicked shout as he closes the ao3 window and covers his face cam* MY MOM IS WATCHING THIS STREAM! *arms flailing around* CUT! CUT EVERYTHING! Mom please forget the last 10 minutes. *stream ends*

At one point Jon releases a pride video where he comes out as Bi and the rpf shippers loose their minds. They relay the "oh that’s some uuuh..nice shading" pic with ‘I WAS THERE’, ‘fork found in kitchen moment’ or ‘THE WRITING WAS ON THE WALL’.

One stream, Jon forgot to tell his parents he was live-streaming so his mother enters his room and his chat goes absolutely hog wild at Lois Lane’s appearance. " Text to speech donation: ‘Who is that baddie? Is she single?’

Jon, scoffs: STOP! THAT’S MY MOTHER!! she is happily MARRIED with TWO BEAUTIFUL SONS, one of them is ME. Back off!!!

Text to speech donation: Is that a way to talk to your future step mother?

Jon: Stop that!!

Damian: By Allah, you people are dogs. Jon your chat is never seeing any of my family."

Then the chat goes hogwild because "Dairy is gatekeeping his family from Jon’s rabbid chat?? How handsome are his family members!?". A part of chat goes "meanie Dairy is depriving us of beautiful people."

The first charity live stream they did, they had "Lois lane interview" as a charity goal for 5k dollars raised. As soon as Jon revealed the 5k goal, they got there embarrassingly fast.

Jon: I can't believe that my viewers are such simps for my mother, it's not been 30min and we are already up 1k.

Chatter: We can also simp for your father too if u want.

Text to speech 100$ donation: BISEXUALS UNITE!! in this house we are down bad for Jon's Mom AND Dad!!!

and the chat descends into a chant of 'Bisexual unite!!!'

=> someone made a conspiracy reddit thread saying that Jon is Superboy but it gets clowned on and the account got deleted lightning fast. It has become a huge meme in the fan community. Which spawned in the tag #superJon which then got morphed into a crack ship with Jon and Superboy.

After they reveal Damian being THE Damian WAYNE, they post a video where they play MarioKart with both their families. It quickly becomes their most viewed video because of the sheer chaos it entails. PEAK content.
