We have some cool projects that we are working on and it's going to probably be the busiest day we have had in a bit which is unusual to say because it has already been crazy busy. This is typically what happens when a smartphone is exposed to heat, usually inside a vehicle. Can also be achieved from using a car charger a lot. This battery was about to explode and it pushed the screen completely out of the frame, had it not been for the two screws on the bottom holding it in. Had the battery exploded, it would have caught many things around it on fire and the explosion could have happened while the phone was charging, possibly in the evening on this guy's nightstand. He did the right thing and brought it in to us immediately. Take care of your phones and especially keep them out of the heat.
