People for the Ethical Treatment of Vampires
Warping lore to claim that vampires are less dangerous than toddlers.
Hippies getting in the way of hunters, waving their arms and yelling, ‘Vampire rights!’
Protesting movies that portray vampires as ‘bad’.
Call Bram Stoker, ‘The True Father of Lies’.
Picketed Buffy Summers birthday party and made valet parking damn near impossible.
Suggest that ‘recovering Slayers’ use alternatives to hunting vampires, like crossfit.
Routinely get picked off by vampires and have to come up with alternate explanations for what happened.
Formed by former members of the Sunset Club. Or, what’s left of them, at least.

She smirked a little, crushing out the cigarette and eyeing him up and down as his openly mocked her. “Sorry, Firecracker. Those stories are only for me and not steroid-filled hunks who randomly strike up a conversation.”
She’s got spunk, he’ll give her that. And enough sense to see through his bullshit charming stranger act but Damon barely notices. Too busy being pleased as punch with himself and his lil tiny muscles.He leans in, rests an elbow on the bar and shoots her a tight, flirty smile, “So, you’ve been checking me out. No, no. I’m not here to judge. You’re only human, after all. But if you don’t wanna talk about you... tell me more about me. You know, the good stuff. How attracted you are, yadda yadda. Start back at ‘steroid-filled hunk’.”

That earned him a scoff, followed by a dry laugh. “Honey, I’m not surprised by much at this point in my life. I’ve nearly died once or twice already, yet here we are.” she smirked a little before taking another drag off her cigarette and blowing smoke rings at him.
Her quip about nearly dying turns Damon’s frowny lil frown all the way upside-down and he looks positively amused. Humans. So funny. Walking around, thinking they’ve experienced stuff. His eyes close for a moment, brows peak and fall, “Nearly.” he muses, mouth twisting into a pointy lil smirk as those snake eyes of his snap open again and lock on hers. Doesn’t mention the smoke rings ---- yuck. Just lets it go, because he’s far more interested in playing with his new toy, “Well gee, sounds like you’ve got all kinds of stories and since I don’t have anywhere to be... do tell.”

‘Uh-huh! Of course it was’ responds Buffy, but it’s in the form of a look. She pockets her phone, an amused smile creeping to the surface as she redirects her attention to Damon, “Oh boy.” She exhales, hands planting themselves at her waist. This Salvatore could dress up even the most extreme levels of mischief as some type of good deed, but after a decade of headaches and frown lines from putting up with such behaviour Buffy finally knows better, “Now why don’t I like the sound of that?”
“Mmmh.” a little, contented smile as Damon’s hands circle Buffy’s waist. She never could tell him no, which he appreciates. What with him liking having his own way, and all. What he doesn’t like quite so much is that her opinion matters to him. It’s bullshit, is what it is. And Buffy giving him her little talking to feels pokey --- right in his ribs. He uses his hold on her to coax her close enough that he has to almost lean down to look at her, “What if I promise it’s not like last time? You’d buy that, right? Aw, come on Summers. There’s a shiny nickel in it for ya. And some potential adult content.”

Damon isn’t an especially patient man, these days. The emotional vampling, green and easily led, who waited for Katherine like a lovesick puppy all those years is well and truly gone. Died with the flame of hope, like innocence usually does. He doesn’t have it in him to wait, not for long, but he is waiting, Staying put, far enough away from this woman to not give his hand away ---- to not broadcast that he’s a threat. His brow bends over one eye and he can’t help but correct, “You might be surprised what’ll get you killed..”
