The reason why many people freak out at the mere thought of Johan showing sympathy towards other people and being able to feel love towards Nina and Tenma, stems from their interpretation of his character as an "alpha male manipulator". Him being vulnerable and showing glimpses of emotions would shatter their fantasy which is why they cling to their own narrative of him being a "pure evil" narcissistic serial killer.

The Beyond Evil scriptbook mentioned that eventually everyone who's attracted to Juwon ran away from him because he always avoids their touch (literally would take out tissues and wipe his hands even if you just happened to brush his fingertips) and no conversations spanned more than two lines.

Guess whose hands Juwon doesn't mind holding now, who's THE someone that always finds joy in Juwon's presence even if he doesn't talk much or saying something annoying like this is so CANON.

Juwon can't love anyone else until Dongsik comes and no one can love Juwon like Dongsik does.

For those who watched the Japanese remake of Beyond Evil, how did you find it? I genuinely saw almost nothing about it on Twitter and Tumblr and on MyDramaList it didn't receive much praise. Would it be worthy to give it a try or nah?

I have no problem giving this drama a chance, I have heard good things about the main actors and the cinematography seemed good in the trailers. The issue is that they have apparently cut out many crucial plot points (I mean, they reduced the amount of episodes, so it's logical) and some fans were disappointed at how the Japanese version of Dongsik and Juwon was presented.

Since we have VAR, referees are obligated to let the game continue instead of stopping it. There was a CLEAR foul at Egypt's second goal, you literally see the photage of the player stepping on Martinez's foot. VAR checked it and saw the foul. There have been numerous cases of similar disallowed goals.

The penalty was also more than clear, look at the way Tagliafico was taken down and you will understand.

Salah and Alvarez's 1vs1 didn't result at a penalty. Alvarez won the ball clearly and Salah fell by himself. At no point we saw Alvarez stepping on him once he claimed the ball.

The "slap" happened away from the penalty area, therefore it wasn't neither a penalty nor a free kick.

Seeing people hating on Argentina because of "racism" and "colonialism" while supporting teams like France, USA, Portugal or England is so hypocritical, I can't help but laugh.

Every country is racist. Sorry to burst your bubble but no country is a utopia of equality. There is racism among Western countries, Latin America, Africa, Asia...You can choose not to support a country but please, don't try to wash your hands while supporting countries which are guilty of the things you accuse others of doing.

The truly insulting thing about fridging the wife in nippon sangoku is the fact that it adds literally nothing to the plot. Dead wife so irrelevant, the protagonist, The Most Boring Man Alive, could have been motivated by anything else and the show would play out the same. Or better. The alternative version where TMBMA decided to do nippon sangoku stuff because Taira stomped all over his vegetable patch is a better story than fridged wife.

Nippon Sangoku author having to clarify on twitter that he didn't intend to portray Aoteru and Tsune's relationship in a romantic way and that there are no BL undertones is lowkey so funny.
