Today, more than ever, I am proud to say that I am a gay man. It’s taken the majority of my lifetime to be vulnerable enough to share that part of myself with others- heck even to have enough courage to admit it to myself. My journey ( much like others ) as a gay man wasn’t ideal, or easy. But as I’m learning during this current season in my life, we become stronger as individuals when faced with challenges and adversity. I’m thankful for the way God created me. I’m thankful for the people in my life that encouraged me, accepted me and loved me unconditionally.
