Me: I'm going to throw my phone away for two days, no fics, no Tumblr, no Destiel, no texting, no scrolling and scrolling and scrolling through fanart, no computer. I'm instead going to pick up a giant novel and not stop until I finish it. There was a time when I didn't have a phone and read 90 books a year, I can do it again

Me: * throws phone away and opens book resolving not to abandon it *

One and a half minutes of no angsty fics later:

Phone: * stares at me *

Me: * ignores it *

Me: * gives in and snatches it off the bed *

At 2 AM while clearing the bed to sleep:
