tbh…. i rlly rlly want 2 write a modern au bcs the amt of sanses that have things that can b translated in2 medication (i.e. ink’s paints, tw overdose but i think u cld also translate nms corruption as overdosing)… also a lot of them (all of them) need medication and therapy probably

in my mind the [insert thing here]!character modifies the character? so dance!killer is more comedic than killer!dance to me bcs the former is the physical embodiment of ‘murder on the dance floor’ (the song) and the latter murders people on the dance floor

i think i project my own mental illness onto characters i write a bit too frequently but honestly i feel like making certain sanses paranoid is verrrrry reasonable considering a lot of their backgrounds.

like ik nightmare is constantly freaked out he has like 0 outlet and what if someone betrays him, he cant give them any leverage to use against him! and i feel like killer wld be paranoid as well but in that kind of cagey way where he refuses to let anyone get close to him bcs hes scared and pretends its because hes like… better than that or smth

i think dream wld also be at least when hes younger because umm. going from (presumably) a small town to an infinite multiverse is a massive jump and theres no way after what happened w nightmare he trusts everyone he meets… esp people who dont already know abt the tree and such…

like the traits make sense i think theyre suuuuper interesting… the way fear makes u act irrationally too works well imo
