Why do songs sometime touch souls, why does music make one’s heart sink?
The intensity of Tose Naina Lage/ Javeda Zindagi is beyond words, its depth is beyond comprehension and understanding is beyond reach. Still an attempt to choreograph this song in to a beautiful piece is admirable. Could it have been better, why not? But is there an understanding that Hindi cinema seems to forget conveniently, for sure.

The hardest song to explain, the most complex to define, and definitely the most difficult to choreograph.
This song is so mellow and dripping with emotion that translating it into a contemporary dance choreography could go so very wrong, so very easily.
But this routine amazes me from start to finish, its almost redefining the word perfection. The lifts, the lines and even the emotions. There are so many moments that I have been compelled to release this in two parts.

And Vrushika Mehta for the role of Leela (Deepika Padukone).
If only Ram-Leela were a Broadway musical.

The Dance of Envy
This sequence is one that Bollywood will probably envy forever. It’s simple, raw and yet so very true to its title. Madhuri Dixit is reverent and taking your eyes off her feels like a sin. She is stunning and moves with confidence that breaks any opponents eyes. Its her beauty and skill that make her the powerful star that she is and forever will be.
My introduction to Bollywood is fairly new and I am very open to taking requests and suggestions for gif sets. My Indian neighbours have made me a disciple of this world, and I want to explore everything dance means and has to offer in this arena of Bollywood.
