Metal Family headcanons 9
Vicky plays Stardew Valley with Glam at least once a week. She honestly thinks cozy games are boring, but Glam loves them, and she loves Glam (and he was super excited when he found out they could be married in the game as well). She also loves to listen to Glam infodump, even if she thinks half the things he's into are boring as hell.
Ches is Glam's emergency contact. Not only has he been though more crises with Glam, but because he fried most of his brain cells in his twenties, he doesn't freak out about things and can usually calmly solve the problem. Glam loves Vicky, but she always ads too much stress to the situation in an already stressful time.
While they were on tour, Whoarethosefreaksonstage compiled a list of rules for the van, some they thought they'd never have to make, let alone enforce. There were plenty of normalish ones, like, "No open nail polish in the van." and, "Make sure everyone's accounted for before leaving a rest stop." (everyone, except for Bob, obviously, had been left behind at least once at that point), but there were also a lot of weird ones, like, "Don't cook meat on the grill of the van," and, "Don't moon cop cars." A lot of the weirder ones came from Ches testing limits for fun. As far as he knows, the rule book they made is still in the van somewhere, but he hasn't cleaned it since they were on tour (Glam dropped his lip gloss under the seat once while he and Ches were on their way to pick up Dee and Heavy from school for a dentist appointment, only to find three others that were close to two decades old, were shades only Lordi had worn, and were horribly moldy at this point. He literally almost threw up, especially when Ches suggested they open one to see what it smelled like), so he doesn't know where.
Because not having enough sleep can make his meds not work as well, Glam takes an afternoon nap every day at the same time. Dee and Heavy have learned that they should be quiet and not bother him unless something is on fire (and they can't put it out themselves), otherwise they'll get a weird lecture from Glam, yelled at by Vicky when she gets home, and dinner almost always ends up getting messed up in some way because disruption in Glam's routine tends to mess him up. He also goes to bed at 8 almost every day (he wakes up at 6, though, so that's part of it).
An insane amount of gay shit happened while the band was on tour. Some of it was more of a platonic gay, but a lot of it was either super iffy, or just straight up non-ambiguously gay.
