Issa easily brushed off how apathetic the man was, continuing to talk in his overly-excited manor as always. “ Nothing?! I don’t think it was nothing! “ Obviously to him, what he had done was practically saving his life, depending on what the creeper had planned on doing in the end. “ I’m so relieved you came along, honestly. “ He said with a sigh, pushing his face up against the other’s arm. For him, the gesture wasn’t all that odd, but he wasn’t aware of the gender mix-up. He was just a naturally touchy person, so he had assumed it was a completely normal thing to do.
“ Cool!! “ He exclaimed, despite not being too surprised with the answer he had received. “ Being in a gang must be so much fun! “ Issa rambled, before freezing up when he was scolded. “ Ah, yea, I had a night class today. “ The answer he gave must not have made much sense, since he was also unaware that the man thought he was a child, not a college student. “ I guess this short cut wasn’t such a good idea… “ An awkward laugh came out with that statement, knowing that it was completely his own fault that he had gotten in this situation in the first place.
Not being very good with hints, Issa hadn’t even realized that he was making the other uncomfortable in the first place. It wasn’t as if he had been holding the man’s hand, though maybe keeping himself pressed against his arm was an even stranger thing to do. Nonetheless, he showed no signs of letting go any time soon, probably because he really didn’t want to be left alone again. Not after having such a thing happen to him. The red-head felt much safer having the man there with him, despite the fact that they had literally met only minutes ago.
Of course, he would jump at the chance to have the man take him home– anything so he didn’t have to walk by himself while it was still dark. “ My apartment is only a little further ahead, if you wanna just walk me all the way there. “ He knew that there was much safer places to be walking, but unfortunately, his apartment itself wasn’t in a very nice place, so walking the safer way would only double the time that it took to get there.
Upon the other’s quick decision to hug his arm, Danchiku just stared wide-eyed and bewildered at the girl, shaking his head some; she truly was naive to simply hug someone with a pocket knife who was clearly robbing a creep -- if anything, a normal person would’ve called the cops on such a person, yet Ryuuhou went as far as to attack that weirdo. It was a dangerous thing to do and could’ve easily backfired at him. But he was not a man without courage, that’s for sure. “Relieved?” Puzzled as to why she would say such a thing, he grimaced. Surely, he wanted to help her -- and obviously, he did. But with the shady backhand reason of stealing money from that guy. Attempting to shrug out of her tight grip on his arm, he hemmed in order to show her that this action was indecent, perhaps people would confuse them as a couple ---- really, nobody wanted to be considered Dan’s girlfriend. He was walking-talking trouble. “I didn’t really save you per se -- I stole the guy’s money and threatened him. But I am glad to have assisted you.” The boy said, nodding his head politely as a man should behave in front of a female.
“Fun...” Ryuuhou repeated as he squinted at the female; she seemed to be a real, true airhead. Sighing slightly, he cocked his head to the side. “I could name you a few fun activities and none of which being a gang member to be frank?” He could go on and on about explaining how it was not a fun thing in general -- surely, they had fun times together and whatnot... but -- generally speaking -- they were endangering themselves to other criminals. Plus, some even went as far as being full-on criminals themselves and ruining the core meaning of a Bousouzoku gang. Shameful.
The more that girlie was speaking, the more confused he had gotten. “Wait a second-- night class. I don’t think middle schoolers have night classes, last time I checked.” Being quite blunt about his presumptions, he wanted to get the record straight ---- was she a middle schooler or someone older? Really, someone this naive couldn’t go to college... right?! Right?!?!
Of course, the good old short cut. Danchiku chuckled lamely in the back of his throat. “Only naive people take short cuts in the middle of the night at a bad neighbourhood such as this one...” Of course, he would’ve rather said ‘idiots’, but that would’ve been rather cruel towards a girl ---- he much rather picked that kind of phrasing towards fellow gang guys.
Not far from there? It was quite stranger to live in such an area when not being a gangster or criminal ---- if (and that was a big if after that conversation) that person still lived with their parents, then... that would be quite the wild area to buy a house for the family and such... “Mhm... alright, I will escort you home.” Combing back the blue streaks on the front of his hair, he let the other still cling to his arm as they walked down the road, looking left and ride to make sure they weren’t followed; even if he may be of any security to her right now, it would not mean that these rats weren’t going to follow her home and attack when they know she was alone -- or at least vulnerable, for he really didn’t know if she lived alone.
“Say, uhm... you live with your parents or something? I mean... you really do look young... or like maybe with family? Siblings? Room mates?” At this point he really didn’t know what age she was at anymore ---- and here he was, calling the stranger earlier a paedophile. Perhaps he was really, really wrong. Could it be that this was an adult woman? The thought made his cheeks flush up the slightest ---- he wasn’t exactly used to female presences, it was all gang guys around him, men amongst men, really. Sometimes women would hit on him at the bar, ‘cause he looked ‘dangerous and mysterious’, but in fact, he really didn’t give it too much thought to have a relationship. Not when he was in a gang. He really didn’t want to endanger any woman by his side ---- not even the call girls, they deserved better.
