Ulquiorra Discovers His Heart

So really, I don’t like Ulquiorra that much. He’s a little too emo for my tastes. This was incredibly sad though.

I think it’s pretty apparent that in his way, Ulquiorra learned to care for Orihime. And it’s easy to see why he would learn to love Orihime. She’s the embodiment of kindness and compassion (on that Kubo has done an amazing job). She gives pure love and acceptance quite freely. Do I think they would have had some amazing future together if he had lived? I mean, I don’t know about that. It doesn’t really matter though. This is almost bittersweet because at least in the end, Ulquiorra got a taste of what it feels like to love.

I love Griffith to death. His character has made me feel more complex emotions than any other character so far.

I feel like ‘fans’ that hate on his character have completely missed the point. Anyone that isn’t entranced by Griffith and what he represents honestly doesn’t seem to understand what Berserk is about.

Every time I reread the Golden Age Arc I keep secretly hoping that Guts doesn’t leave the hawks and everyone’s plans come to fruition.  All Guts really had to do was truly explain to Griffith why he was leaving.  It all could have been prevented, oh the humanity!
