for people who consistently post about him and him mainly, it is a rather small fandom especially on tumblr. but he still has people following him and his work. he's more niche, but I'm sorry, it's not the same situation as dannies. when he's cast in things, people talk about it. he has edits and posts go viral thirsting over him. he's received critical acclaim and regardless of what some think about pwmov, it's literally nominated for an emmy. he's not a household name or a very famous celebrity, but when most people recognize him, they do so because of him/his work.
I mean this is the nicest way possible and I say it as someone who actually does like dannie, I'm really not sure if majority of the people who know of her or keep up with her do so because of her, or at least it may not have started off that way. which is totally okay! there's nothing wrong with being introduced to someone because of their connections with a different artist you like. but we need to be realistic here. her most notable role was in a netflix show years ago that majority of netflix users didn't even watch. i watched it and liked it but it was very niche, and it's five years old atp with only one season. we need to be honest, at least half of the people who still keep up with her at least started that way because she's tom's gf, not because of her or her own work. which again, is fine. it's not a personal attack against her.
We've already discussed this and I 100% agree!! Their careers cannot be compared, I was (as most people's were in this fandom) introduced to her because she is dating Tom, and I do agree (most) people keep up with her because she's dating Tom 🙏🏻
