version 2.0 of my creature!Anne design! I might post some pics of the original design later since they better showcase some of the changes I decided to keep but only sketched lightly, but let’s just say that after Wally and Anne happened I was legally obligated to change her design lmao

basically, in this au being sent to another world... changes the girls physically, giving them various features from other species and creatures. Anne’s hair is mossy and after a while starts to grow flowers and attract strange white butterflies, as does the “antler” on her head. Her eyes glow, much like the Moss Man’s (or her first appearance), and under extreme duress, her non-existent pupils might flash blue. Her legs are more frog-like, which makes wearing shoes... difficult. It’s a miracle she hasn’t lost the other shoe yet, really.

Of course, none of the frogs notices any of her oddities because nobody knows what the heck humans are or how they look like, so it’s not until Anne starts to open up to the Plantars that the family realizes there’s Something Very Wrong with how she looks. Aside from that, the story is much the same, although Anne has to deal with her new shape and the question of what makes someone a ‘monster’ and what makes them ‘human’ (or, in this case, ‘a person’).

She’s upgraded from throwing leaves on her hair to throwing leaves AND some flowers she finds on her travels lmao she also keeps getting spiky branches/brambles stuck on her hair every time she goes adventuring with Sprig and Polly

Supposedly she wears her hair up to avoid getting stuff tangled on it, but how well that works is up to your own perception lol she also wears frog-shaped earrings to top off her vague swamp witch aesthetic the sword is just common sense if you’re gonna fight giant bugs and shit

Clothes based on what Anne’s shown wearing during Lily Pad Thai because I have exactly 0 skills at designing clothes >v> that, and she’d probably try to wear something that reminds her of her Earth family while still being practical (less awkward than wearing a middle school outfit in your twenties, too)
