Hello internet friends and strangers, as you all know, there was a horrific tragedy that occurred in Orlando Florida where fifty people were massacred. This hurt me so much to hear about and it’s still hurting me. I’m actually very scared about what happened but I refuse to live in fear. In like of the horrible event, I decided to come out publicly to my friends and family, this is weird for me because I have always really not been an advocate for public outing, but I realized there are a multitude of people who cannot come out do to fear or family or circumstance and that hurts me. I understand that me coming out does nothing for those who suffered in Orlando, but I hope I can help spread awareness that we have been beaten down by recent events, but I am no longer ashamed of who I am, I am proud to be gay and I am proud to be a supporter of anyone who feels alone or feels they cannot accept themselves because of fear. I am here for you, there are so many people here for you! Please feel free to talk to me about anything. I decided to also get this tattoo today as tribute to my sexuality, and to those who lost there lives for loving who they love and living their lives. Those aren’t just gays, they were doctors and nurses and teachers and waiters and brothers and sisters and sons and daughters and lovers. Please share if you would. #lovewins always.
