Freezing, gripping her shirt. It was almost like she was reliving the moment. She looked around frantically, the noise was so sudden—and loud, she thought the damned thing was actually here for a moment. Patting herself down, making sure all of her was still there. Her breathing was so quick, and her heartbeat almost rapid.
