Saihara wakes up with a nightmare and the reader comforts them, and it ends with them cuddling. The reader is oreferably fem and the more dominant one, but not in a sexual way. It might've just been her, but everything seemed prettier tonight. The nightime sky was twinkling brightly with beautiful stars, and the crescent moon was reflecting a soft, yellow glow over the town and through the dorm window, casting a soft light over Shuichi as he slept. He looked so pretty, his dark blue hair swept to the side, revealing his usually hidden face. He looked so relaxed and peaceful as he slept, his head resting on Y/N's chest, like it was a pillow.
She was taken away by how beautifully handsome he looked tonight, and she wrapped her arms around him a bit tighter, if she could have it her way, she'd never let him go, and they'd waste the next day away by sleeping in and cuddling.
The sight of the detective sleeping, snuggled up to Y/N like she was a teddy bear, was enough to make her feel relaxed, ready to fall asleep with Shuichi in her arms. But, right as her eyes started to flutter closed, she felt twitching. When she opened her eyes once again, she saw that Shuichi was twitching in his sleep, and his face looked pale.
"Shuichi..." Y/N lifted one of her hands up to his face, gently swiping some more of his hair to the side. But instead of leaning into her touch like he usually did, he flinched as soon as her fingertips made contact with his forehead. At this point, she was concered, and began to gently shake his left shoulder.
"Shuichi? Shuichi!" After hearing his name being called, he flinched awake, grey eyes widening once he did. For a moment, they just stared at each other, Shuichi's scared, shaking eyes looking into Y/N's concered eyes. "Shuichi, are you alright - " But right as she was about to finish her question, the detective's startled eyes filled with tears, and his bottom lip began to gently tremble.
As soon as Y/N noticed this, she pulled him as close as possible, his head once again laying on her chest, and she rested her head on top of his. After she gently kissed the top of his head, she could feel tears soaking her nightgown, and Shuichi began to shake a bit, signs that he was crying. Him crying felt like a stab in her heart, it hurt her to see him so upset over a dream, just what was it about?
Almost like he had read her mind, Shuichi began to speak, "Y-you... y-you were there i-instead... y-you hated m-me..." even for Shuichi, that was a lot of stuttering, he struggled to get his sentences out. But Y/N instantly knew what he meant, the amount of nightmares he had of the day he solved his first case was too many to count.
Y/N smiled gently, giving a soft laugh, "I hated you in your dream? That's funny, last time I recalled, I loved you with every fiber of my being." Shuichi sniffled, looking up at his girlfriend. Tears were still streaming down his face, landing on her gown, but she didn't care one bit. She leaned down a bit more, gently kissing his forehead before looking into his eyes, all of her love for him strewn across her face as she spoke, "Really Shuichi, how could I ever hate you?" She kissed the tip of his nose next, "Even if I tried to hate you, I wouldn't be able to, I just love you that much."
A flush started to grow on Shuichi's tear-stricken face as Y/N continued to kiss his face, telling him nothing but sweet things, how she loved him, how she thought he looked so handsome tonight. By the time she was finished, Shuichi was blushing more than he was crying, which made Y/N giggle, "Have I already told you that you look adorable?" A soft smile grew on her face, and it was met with another smile. Shuichi closed his eyes, sniffling a bit as a smile grew on his face, "I love you too.."
He had such a love-filled tone of voice as he spoke those few words, and right after, he tightly wrapped his arms around Y/N, holding her closely. For a small moment, she was taken off guard, a flush of her own growing, but she soon smiled, kissing the top of his head once again. There was nothing else to say. Well, nothing to say verbally at least, everything else that they had to say to each other said through their kisses and how they held one another.
And now, the golden glow of the crescent moon shining through the window casted a soft light over the couple as they held each other, just simply in love.

But, right as he was about to search for her contacts, the phone started to ring.
"Ohhh, speak of the devil, her mom is calling right now!"
"Y-you can't be serious - "
Kokichi simply cut off Miu and answered the phone. The phone quickly connected to Miu's mother, and her voice could be heard on the other side of the line.
"Oh honey bun I'm so glad that you picked up! I tried to call you earlier but you hung up too quickly."
"Oh, sorry but Miu isn't here right now. I'm one of her friends!"
Kokichi was very tempted to say something to degrade Miu, but fought the urge since he was on the phone with her mother.
"Oh! Silly me, I didn't realize! And which one of her friends might you be?"
"I'm Kokichi Ouma! You've probably heard of me."
"Ah, you're one of her roommates, correct? I've heard nothing but lovely things about you and the other boys!"
"Ohhh, really? That's interesting."

I am a VERY detailed writer, so I do take time to write my fanfics! I promise that I can knock out at least 2-3 a day though! As for hcs, I am detailed with them, but I knock them out a lot quicker than my fanfics.
I will also have you know that I played through the Japanese version of the game, so the characters will, depending on the fic/hcs, will potentially use honorifics! And for certain requests, you might have to imagine stuff with their Japanese voices.
Speaking of characters: I can quite literally write every single canon character! I can also write human versions of Monokuma, Usami/Monomi, and the Monokubs!
