Hi, My name is Tori, I’m a 22 bi chicana and, I am opening up comissions in hopes to make some extra money. I would prefer not to get into it too much, but I am currently living with my abusive sister and I am working to move out and live with my boyfriend, @wheres-all-the-pepis​.

Finality | Enigma END

The world goes black and your eyes open.

You lurch to a sitting position as you gulp in deep panicked breaths. Wires and tubes are connected to your face, arms, legs and you grasp at them tearing them off. You stumble to your feet, but your legs give out as if you haven’t used them in a long time.

Looking around, you find yourself in a dark room that you do not recognize. The bed that you had been laying on, an actual bed, supports you as you force yourself up onto shaking legs. You won. You survived Nai’s messed up killing game.

But you still feel as though you’re in the dark, literally and figuratively. She hadn’t explained anything about her motives or her group. Legion. Just spewed nonsense and said you were free to go.

Go…

Your friends. Where were the others? What about those who had died?

Stumbling forward into a hard wall, you feel your way through the room and find a door. There are noises on the other side. Who?

You need to know. You have to figure out where you are.

Grabbing the handle, an actual handle no stupid keypad, you open the door and it opens with little sound. Light blinds you and the voices outside stop. As you stumble out and your eyes adjust, you see them. The others. They’re alive and okay.

You embrace each other making sure you’re real and you’re there. But the fear is palpable in each of you. You don’t know where you are. Where was the hospital, Monomouse, Nai?

Together, you move down the hall, passing doors, each labeled with a name. All familiar. Eri Nakama, Chiasa Akatsuki, Nikolai Pokhlebkin, Lucio de la Fuente.

You want to check. You need to check.

Opening a door reveals another darkened room. And a body on a bed. The monitor they’re hooked up to is flatlined. There is no response. Monomouse had lied. They weren’t braindead. They were just dead.

You’re pulled out by one of the others and you head down the hall even further. To a pair of doors with that symbol painted on them. Tha fucking Legion symbol.

You sigh, cursing internally, and grab the handle, pushing the door open and bright, beautiful sunlight filters in.

The world is waiting. But will you be able to survive in it?

The doors close after the group leaves. The sunlight is cut off and the harsh fluorescents cut off. As the entire facility is bathed in darkness, the monitor flickers. And He appears.

Stage 5 || Beginning of the End

Even a couple days later, the Doomsday Device was still in the Operating Theater.

Sure, the mess formerly known as Chiasa had been cleaned up, but the giant item sitting obnoxiously in the center of the room was a constant reminder of what had happened. What could still happen. To anyone of the Contestants.

Another constant reminder of the horrible situation, their lovable host, Monomouse, was located near the southern door of the Theater, coordinating the Arms as they forced open the set of metal shutters blocking the hallways.

Cosmo and Wanda lifted the gates with an ear-splitting screech opening up the next, and final, area.

The first new room, and the largest, had two entrances and a simple plaque on the wall next to the door that read ‘Experiments.’ A room tucked into the back corner was labeled ‘Morgue.’ Two rooms were labeled ‘Solitary.’ And the final new room was marked as ‘Observation.’

What would this next area hold? Would it finally offer the last clues to the circumstances surrounding the Contestants imprisonment? Or would it just bring more despair? Only investigating would reveal that.

Stage 4 || The Price of Impalement Arts

Niko Korimura has been found guilty! Commencing Execution!

There’s soft lounge music playing. The scene starts dark, warm lights slowly begin brightening the room, yet it’s still dim. A fancy bar counter is distinguishable, Niko standing straight and still behind it, facing the front, and his hands placed behind his back as always. As calm as he seems, his breathing is heavy and his eyes are shifting frantically to scan every angle.

A tranquil minute passes before Niko’s arms are suddenly yanked upwards to each of their sides by chains. A huge round wooden platform breaks through and crashes the wall from behind, sliding forward and hitting Niko’s back. His limbs are spread and strapped on the flat platform which slowly begins rotating him. Monomouse hops onto the scene a few feet in front of him while wearing a magician outfit with a box full of knives and booze bottles next to him. On one side of the room, a tall totem with a stack of cash on the top comes up from the ground. Next to it is a flashy sign that says ‘‘Survive to win the grand prize!’’. Rows and rows of Monomice appear as the audience, facing the counter which has turned itself into a stage. Carousel music starts playing.

Monomouse bows at the cheering public, before he turns around to look back at the bartender. He throws the first knife at Niko, it lands dangerously close to his leg. Another throw, it hits the wood again. At this point, the bartender is trying to keep a straight face, but you can see him growing pale and sweating. Five more knives consecutively pierce the sides of the platform, still spinning.

Niko is getting dizzy, his eyebrows are twitching, but his smile is still present. Applause can be heard while Monomouse waves, the act is not over yet. Now, instead of knives, the bottles are taken out. They are rapidly thrown at the spinning victim and they all hit different parts of his body, shattering upon impact and soaking Niko in alcohol and his own blood. It continues for a few more minutes until the wheel stops spinning abruptly, leaving the strapped one upside down, beaten and panting.

As the act comes to an end, the totem is lowered to the ground with an uplifting victory melody. Niko’s limbs are released and he drops to the floor, exhausted from all the hits and blood loss. However, he is still alive, and begins crawling towards the bag of cash, thinking that he deserves his reward. His wounds make his movements slow and shaky, but he is persistent, smiling even. Once near the totem, he rises to his knees and extends his hand, trying to reach it. But before he can even graze it, a final knife shoots from the bag, impaling him straight through the heart. Niko’s expression shifts from faint hope to utter shock and defeat. Still on his knees, he falls to the side and slowly bleeds out. Monomouse takes off his magician top hat and gives the audience a final bow before red curtains close the act.

Stage 4 || It Only Matter What is on the Inside

A voice boomed through the halls, and for once, it wasn't Monomouse.

No, this voice wasn't even on the loudspeakers but it still reached everywhere just from sheer massive volume.

Chiasa the Great demanded everyone’s presence so she could unveil her greatest creation ever, before using it to destroy the world. Thus ending the game and becoming the winner and supreme overlord of everything. She had a hostage and everything. This was not a drill. Come to the Operating Theater. Now.

The other Contestants seemed divided. They didn’t actually need to show up to the supervillain’s show? Did they? She wasn’t actually going to destroy the world. Right? How could she and with what materials?

After a few minutes, the only people to walk into the Operating Theater were Aki and Jamal. Aki, because her mom instincts told her she needed to see who exactly Chiasa was holding hostage. And Jamal, to make sure his girlfriend didn’t end up getting into some sort of trouble with Chiasa.

The Doomsday Device was...something. It was massive in size, hanging from the ceiling, and made out of seemingly everything in the hospital that hadn’t been bolted down. From broken metal shelves, to broom and mop handles, to buckets, and there was even a sofa on the bottom. How Chiasa had even managed to gather all the stuff, bolt it all together, and manage to hoist it up so high, was a complete mystery.

The Supervillain was standing in the center of the theater directly underneath, hands on her hips, looking menacing and superior. And above her…

Aki let out a strangled noise as she saw just exactly who Chiasa had taken as her hostage. Zoe was sitting on the sofa, dangling over Chiasa. She didn’t look the least bit worried at the fact that she was a hostage. Instead, when she saw Aki and Jamal enter the room, a bright smile crossed her face.

“Aki! Look! I’m helping Chiasa with her wrestling storyline!”

Chiasa groaned, dramatically rolling her eyes. She was not a wrestler, Zoe. She was a supervillain. The greatest Supervillain. She had conquered a country for god’s sake. But instead of correcting the pinkette for the gazillionth time, Chiasa returned to her epic posing at Aki and Jamal.

Chiasa glanced at her wrist and threw her hands up and began laughing, menacing and slightly maniacal.

She cackled, gaze sweeping over her audience.

"BEHOLD! I, CHIASA THE GREAT, shall END THIS VERY KILLING GAME, AND THE WHOLE WORLD!"

She threw her head back and laughed again, the sound echoing through the facility.

"With my doomsday device, the LASER-INATOR 3000, the world as you know it will be GONE, AND ALL THAT REMAINS WILL BE IN MY CONTROL!"

There was a loud whirring noise and the laser on the top of the Device began to glow. And then, underneath it all, was a groaning sound. And snapping. The glow of the laser died out as Cosmo pulled his head out of the bucket he was hidden in, looking around for the source of the noise. Zoe started to look worried as the device began swaying, and the snapping grew louder.

Aki and Zoe screamed, Jamal let out a shout, Chiasa laughed, and the Doomsday device fell. And with a deafening crash, crushed the Supervillain underneath.

Everyone was dead silent, hoping this was a sick joke, when the blood began to seep out from underneath the device.

The loudspeakers crackled to life with the sound of chimes.

DING DONG BING BONG

“A body has been discovered!”

Zoe let out another shriek and jumped from the sofa, where she had been frozen, towards Aki. Just as both of the Theater doors swung open and the final three Contestants rushed inside.

Stage 4 || Motive || A Dream is a Wish

“Everyone stop hunting for eggs and come to the Operating Theater!”

No one really could understand what was going on in the mechanical skull that was Monomouse’s. One moment he’s intent on causing despair for all the Contestants, the next he’s organizing egg hunts, painting giant wall-sized clocks, and...redecorating the Operating Theater.

All the rubble and dust and dirt had been removed from the room as well as a majority of the chairs on the second floor. The gurney that held the booby-trapped dummy was still there but shoved off to the side.

Cosmo had a giant push broom and was going back and forth, gathering up leftover dust so Poof could scoop it up with a dustpan. Monomouse had a mouse-sized mop and bucket as was washing the floor until the checkered-pattern linoleum shined. Wanda was off to the side, supervising.

The three of them were very focused on their task, so much so that they didn’t even notice the Contestants arriving at the double doors. Someone cleared their throat and Wanda looked up and nudged Monomouse to do the same. The robot finally noticed his audience, yelped, tossing the mop to Wanda (who deftly caught it and continued mopping) and face the group of teenagers.

“About time you showed up! I’ve been waiting forever. I’d tell you to come in, but the floor was just washed and you kids got icky feet.”

Acting like he hadn’t just been scrubbing said floor, Monomouse pushed the gurney over towards the door and hopped on top so he was taller than most of the group.

“You guys have been busy, you found a ton of the easter eggs and got a bunch of clues. I do hope you share with your fellow Contestants, it wouldn’t be very friendly of you to keep information all to yourselves. But that’s for later. Right now, I’ve decided that you guys have been getting too comfortable again, not even an inkling towards a murder happening, so I’ve decided to push you along.”

He papped his paws against the dummy’s head, like a punching bag.

“A lot of you have complained that my previous incentives haven’t been motivating enough. That I should ‘offer you something’ so here we go. You get away with murder, you’ll get anything your heart desires. Fame, fortune, power. Hell, you could even call off the game.”

In the background, Wanda tapped the mop against the wall, getting Monomouse’s attention. He groaned loudly.

“This is what I’m offering kiddos. You can believe me, or not. You tend to always think I’m lying. But whatever. Have fun! Can’t wait to see who’s offed next!”

He hopped off the gurney and began helping the Arms clean again.

Monomouse is offering to grant any wish to the person who is able to get away with murder.

Stage 4 || Engima Egg Hunt

A loud ring over the hidden speakers in the building ran through the corridors of the now very empty building as numbers dwindled. Before a voice came up over the speaker. A familiar one, that anybody there would be able to correctly associate with Monomouse.

“Ahem.. Ahem! Attention everybody! If you could all meet me in my mouse house that would be wonderful! Thank you! This is not optional!”

The speakers crackled and then turned off, as the mouse waited for his contestants to arrive. One by one everybody gathered around, and Monomouse was sitting on his little pillow nest, lounging, as he waited for those remaining to enter. Once all had arrived, the mouse spoke up.

“Okie dokie! Let's cut to the chase! Things have been quiet round here! Too quiet! You’ve all been sleeping too much or doing whatever, and none of you are killing each other!”

He crossed his arms.

“Now thats not the issue! The issue is if you keep isolating yourselves like this none of you will care when somebody dies! And I won't be able to see the despair twinkle out of your eyes for a whatever many-ith time this is now.”

Hopping up on a nearby table the mouse held up what looked like one black ball, and a second white one.

“This is what i'm going to get you to do! It's kinda like an easter egg hunt! Around the building are these little pairs of capsules! And i'm making it your job to find them! If you find them you can open either the black one, or the white one! One will give you something good! Maybe it's a photo of a forgotten memory, or a glimpse into the outside world! Maybe Bowlcut over here can see how Booksmarts is doing!”

He paused.

“Buuutt… if you pick the wrong one! All of you will be subjected to despair! I won't tell you about what to expect from that though. Have fun!”

Stage 4 || Everything’s Different, Yet Nothing Changes

The sounds of metal screeching filled the hospital. More shutters rising and more rooms becoming accessible.

Monomouse was waiting for the Contestants. Waiting for them to come from whatever depressing hole they had dug themselves in after Rasmus’s and Lucio’s deaths. He was seated on his mobile swivel chair, spinning nonchalantly, as if everything was hunky dory.

He stopped once everyone was gathered and faced the group, tossing up his paws in celebration.

“Congratulations! You guys actually managed to not fuck everything up this time. You found the evidence and figured out that Scarface murdered the Goth Giant, so good for you!

This is usually the part where I give you a new gimmick to earn rewards pops up, but since you guys are super far behind in finding clues, I’m keeping everything the same as before. Don’t want things to get too difficult for you losers.”

He was busy explaining things, taunting the students. He didn’t notice the movement in the group.

“As for new rooms, I got a few cool places for you to explore! There’s the Operating Theater. Lot’s a gruesome stuff happened in that place. It’s one of my favorite rooms. And then there’s the Electro Therapy Room! If anyone wants a personality change...or to go brain dead, Cosmo and Wanda would be more than willing to use the machine on you!”

Closer and closer, weaving through the group, using the bodies to hide them from view.

“And then, of course, there’s the - wait, what?”

A look of panic crossed his face, cyber eye flashing erratically. His paw flew to his ear and he turned away from the group, muttering frantically.

“I am not giving them access to there. That’s my room! I stole it from her, fair and square.”

There was a long pause and Monomouse’s attention was completely on his phone call. He didn’t see the person approaching from behind.

“What if they ruin my bed? Or get stuck in one of the Mouse Holes? Do you know how much effort I put into that pl--”

Monomouse was cut off by the sound of crunching metal, electrical sparking, and a broom handle spear being shoved through the back of his skull. Nothing moved, no one made a sound except for the gasping sobs coming from Masaki Taiki.

“YOU MURDERED HIM, YOU FUCK! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!”

There was no response from the robot who was sitting limp, spitting out sparks. Masaki hadn’t let go of the handle, pressing on it to skewer the mouse further.

“Rasmus is dead! And it’s all your fault!”

An alarm began ringing as the young thief dissolved into tears. Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof all descended from the ceiling, their laser eyes glowing brightly. There was a shout from the group, someone begging them to stop, but it was too late. Masaki had broken the rules and now punishment had to be dealt.

This time, the Contestants didn’t get to watch as someone was disintegrated behind the safety of a screen. This time, they got to watch in full high definition real-time glory. Complete with the smell of Masaki being burnt to a crisp. At least it was fast. No time to even scream. Just a high pitched whine from warming up lasers and an incredibly bright flash of light.

Once their vision returned all that was left of Masaki Taiki was a smoldering pile of ash.

Two of the arms gathered up the remains of Monomouse, leaving the ashes, and disappeared into the ceiling, leaving the Contestants to deal with what just happened all by themselves.

Stage 3 || Phantom of the Opera

LUCIO DE LA FUENTE HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY. COMMENCING EXECUTION...

Lucio felt cool metal clasp around his neck, and within seconds, he was yanked from the courtroom he once knew. His body dragged along the floor at such intensity that it felt as if he were burning. He tried his best to tug at the clasp but it was too late. He was thrown into a dark, quiet room and landed on a hardwood floor.

As the lights flickered on, the room became more clear. Rows and rows of seats stood before him, each seat occupied by a spare Monomouse, peering before him. He wanted to run. Get up, at least. As he tried to, wires snapped at his limbs, tying tightly to make sure they couldn’t slip off. He still felt the urge to run, and when he attempted to do so, the wires prevented him no matter how much he pulled.

He was going to be their puppet.

As he pulled, he didn’t notice one of the Monomouses were approaching him. He didn’t notice until the mouse clasped a mask over his face – a mask that only covered the half of his face that had the burn scar. That’s when the wires started jerking him around, and one of the wires forced him to pick up a lantern.

The wires continued to jerk him around until he was forced upon a podium surrounded by candles. Each spare watched as he didn’t even open his mouth to sing. Instead, he stiff in place. This didn’t please the crowd one bit, and a few moments later tomatoes started flying, hitting him in the process.

He tried to move, but with each attempted, only his arms were able to maneuver. During his attempts to move, he didn’t notice the candles he knocked down from the podium. Smoke rose into the air, and it became noticeable upon the hardwood stage. The fire quickly spread, and the stage was lite-a-flame.

His eyes wandered to the flame which made his escape attempts harsher. He yanked at the wires continuously until they snapped, which sent him hunching over the podium. He was quick to his feet, and he didn’t realize he was trapped until he noticed there were no more spares around.

He tried to run and escape, but his escape attempts failed once he reached the doors. They were locked. He tried to find a way around – more or less a way out – but there were none. As he looked around, he finally noticed Monomouse. There the mouse was, standing on a balcony. It was giggling and throwing something at the flames.

Alcohol.

The flames grew higher and soon enough, they were burning the curtains. Technically, it was burning everything. Lucio was growing more panicked, and soon enough, he was trapped within a circle of flames. The fire grew closer and closer until he found himself drowning in a circle of flames.

He was screaming in pain, the burning sensation growing worse and worse. The flames never died down. He was engulfed in them until he could no longer scream. He withered on the floor, and at this point, he couldn’t even be seen on the screen. After a few moments of flickering flames, the monitor cut to black, showing Lucio no more.

The victim was discovered in the early morning hours.

The body was located in the doorway of his dorm room.

There appear to be no external injuries.

Stage 3 || Sweet Dreams

The loudspeakers roared to life with a loud and pain-inducing screech. The voice that came on was none other than that of everyone’s favorite mouse mascot.

“So if you guys are done having not so secret meetings, let’s get back to what’s important. Me. You guys have been ignoring me, I’ve been gone for the past several days and no one has shown any sort of worry for me. How rude. Well, now the rudeness of you people have put me in a bad mood. So everyone gather up in the Open Area.”

With that, the speakers cut off with a loud sound of feedback. The students hurry from wherever they have squirreled off to before they’re forced to attend by the mechanical Arms.

Once they reach the Open Area, they notice that Monomouse has dragged the comfy armchair from the office here, chunks of concrete still connected to the legs, and was currently pouting in it.

“I give you guys an awesome Escape Room with an even awesomer prize and not even one word of thanks. Instead, they tell me they want to give the prize away. It’s so mean and rude. I work so hard for you guys.”

Wanda appeared and gave Monomouse a large cheese flavored Icee and a pat on the head.

“I know, Wanda. Living with these fucking teenagers is a nightmare.”

He looks at the kids and takes a long, loud slurp on his drink. From within the confines of the chair, Monomouse produces a slim metal canister with a valve on the top.

“So, I’ve decided to put each and every one of you in your own personal nightmares. Since this morning, I’ve been discreetly pumping the entire hospital full of a colorless, odorless gas. A drug that causes a person to constantly hear their insecurities and see their nightmares and greatest fears over and over again, day and night. Unable to escape. As the days go by, the voices in your mind will grow louder and louder, the nightmares and fears will only become worse until they are the only thing you hear, think, breath, see. The only way to stop this and receive the cure is to murder someone.”

He set his drink down and twisted the valve on the canister, releasing the gas with a hiss.

“It’s been a while so the drug should be taking effect any second now. Good luck, Contestants.”

Starting now, everyone will be facing their worst nightmares with increasing severity until a murder is committed.

Stage 3 || Russian Roulette

Monomouse wasn’t anywhere to be found. Whether it was because he was planning something dastardly plot, or brooding over the fact that he wasn’t able to kill anyone during the last trial was anyone’s guess.

The only reason the Contestants were made aware of new areas opening up was the loud fanfare playing on the loudspeakers and the even louder screeching of the shutter gates being opened.

If they investigate, they'll realize they have access now to a plethora of rooms. All these new rooms, but with no mouse to tell them exactly what they are, it would be up to the Contestants to search and figure that out.

Inside the Riddle Room, there was also a big change. On the wall, a giant monitor with a digital wheel stood prominently. It had numerous wedges, a majority of them saying ‘Win’ while only one said ‘Lose.’

A placard was next to the monitor with instructions for the wheel.

Greetings Contestants!

Stage 3 is where we introduce Roulette!

You now have the option to choose whether you’d like a simple riddle, which only gives out simple prizes. Or you may choose the Roulette Wheel!

The Roulette Wheel is simple, but the Prizes are worth any risk it may include. Prizes from the wheel can range, from clues as to exactly why you were picked for this Game, to items you may use to further progress the Game along.

Simply push the SPIN button on the monitor to begin!

But be warned! Every time you win something from the roulette wheel, the chance to Lose grows bigger.

Beneath this was a piece of paper, tacked on seemingly last minute.

Because you idiots fucked up and let Juurou go free, in addition to items being taken away if you lose Roulette, you will also be given a Punishment Collar.

Lose two times, and the collar will dole out its punishment. Enjoy.

And there was a crude scribble of Monomouse flipping off whoever read the paper. Charming.

Stage 2 || Teacher’s Pet Perfect Punishment

The execution music that is oh so familiar to the sound of punishment rings through the trial grounds before Juurou Kumakura is dropped down, fear in his eyes.

Everything is a blur as Juurou is falling from the trial grounds before everything goes black. Juurou finds himself surrounded by a classroom, a familiar setting he looks around at sees Monomouse, sitting at the front of the class. Looking down, it looks like hes chained to the ground, and on a long black strip. He looks back up. And Monomouse speaks up.

“Whats the square root of 2051!”

“45.2879674969” Juurou quickly responds correctly

“Whats the capital of Denmark?”

“Copenhagen”

This continues, monomouse asks questions, juurou gets them right, nothing happens. Until, Monomosue gets tired, hes sick of this back and forth.

“God why cant you get something wrong jeez… Fine..”

The lights dim and Monomouse hops back out with a einstine wig on.

“Is the earth Flat?”

“No” Juurou responds normally

“WRONG!”

A big X is displayed on the chalkboard and Juurou is pushed backwards, towards a big pit behind him.

“WH-What? Thats stupid it's not flat?”

The X is displayed again and he gets pushed back further.

“What is 1+1”

“Two! It's two!”

And once again, he gets pushed back, and is about to be sick. All the questions now are stupid easy questions, obvious ones, but with every correct answer, Juurou is further pushed to the pit, even with purposeful wrong ones, He is pushed back, and the closer he gets to the pit the more things intensify. Music is playing, execution music, book are being thrown at him, and before ong, Juurou dropped. He fell down the pit, and crashed against the ground. His chains were gone, and he stood up. Looking behind him, he saw a light, and above him lowered a helmet, with lots of technology on it. He did it, he was free… He puts the helmet on and it lights up, Juurou was getting his memory back…

But…

Within a second, Juurou’s eyes open wide, he screams, he keeps screaming. And the helmet is taken off. He gets on his knees, a horrible look on his face, a look of despair, of fear, tears streaming from his eyes, this can't be real, it has to be fake, there is no way this is the truth.

“No, that's… that's not true.” His eyes are spinning, he remembers everything and… before he can say anything, he is dragged out into the light, into the world, free from the game.

Stage 2 || Aki Gets Cut Off

They weren't taking him seriously.

The animatronic mouse paced angrily within his Riddle Room. He had told them what would happen if a murder didn't occur by the time the countdown ended, but a majority of the Contestants seemed to be acting as though taking away talents was impossible.

Well.

He’d show them. He’d show them all.

The Next Morning...

Aki woke up quickly. As if she knew something was wrong. The chill behind her neck and the new weightless feeling around her head only confirmed her gut feeling. She pats her head and quickly realizes that her long, beautiful hair has been reduced to a few tuffs.

“M...M...MONOOOOOOOOOOMOUUUUUUUUUUUUUSEEEEEEEE!”  

She screams, quickly grabbing a spare romper and wrapping it around her head before storming to the Riddle Room, where the mouse in question spent most of his time. She kicks at the door angrily.

“MONOMOUSE, GET OUT HERE RIGHT NOW AND FIX THIS! [YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT, FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU!]” 

She’s yelling profanities in English, continuing to kick against the door for the mouse’s attention.

...Yeah, the mouse wasn't going to open the door anytime soon. He wasn't stupid.

Instead, the loudspeakers crackled to life. 

“This is just a taste of what’ll happen if you idiots don't take this motive seriously! Next time will be something much more permanent!”

Stage 2 || Motive || Talents? Or Not?

The open area was where the mouse had decided to force everyone to gather this time. As they gathered they saw that he had pushed the swivel chair from the riddle room out into the center of the room and was spinning rather rapidly in it.

He had called the Contestants together, but he didn’t seem rather interested in them at the moment. It wasn’t until someone shouted at him, wondering what the hell he wanted this time, that got him to stop spinning around and around. How he stopped without his paws being able to touch the ground, who knows.

“So.”

He started, as though he hadn’t been ignoring them for the last several minutes.

“I’ve been watching you guys, and despite having access to all sorts of new things that could cause the most gruesome of deaths none of you have committed the deed.”

He tapped his paws against the chair’s arms, apparently thinking things over.

“Instead, you guys have been celebrating birthdays, getting in romances, relaxing in the baths, and playing party games...without inviting me. Do you not remember the situation you’re in?”

Monomouse seemed depressed. Whether it was because the Contestants had seemingly been ignoring the Killing Game, or because they had excluded him from games. He stood up in his chair and pulled his tablet from took his tablet from Wanda as she came from the ceiling.

“Well, we need to move things along, so in order to motivate you, I have a very exciting incentive for you guys!”

Tapping his paw against the tablet, a timer appeared in the corner of each of the Contestants.

“You guys have until the time runs out to commit a murder, or else, I’m going to steal each and every one of your guys’ talents.”
