Hello hello helloooo!!! Welcome to the official Tumblr account for my Danganronpa Quadrilogy, series!!!

This first (technically third now as of writing this—) post will serve the purpose of introducing the stories, as well as what to expect of this account!!!

Bit of Background Knowledge

*claps hands* Alright so—!! Back in 2019 I had a crazy idea to make my own Danganronpa (around the same time DRV3 came out, I believe—?). I didn’t have the best experience with doing so however—^^;. BUT!!!!!! For the past 5 years I’ve been continuously polishing my craft (and still am to this day) and have finally been on the right track with my first of the four stories, Gaming Detective!!

What is this Account?

The purpose of this account is to both showcase the stories’ writing/art progress, along with just being a silly little place for people to interact with this blog—!!!

Okayyyyy—random update/quirk of mine: I had a problem where for the longest time most of my characters had similar eye shapes, making them impossible to distinguish between eachother from memory.

So in attempt to combat this problem, alongside FINALLY falling under the aesthetic “simple yet distinct” I wanted to follow this further by adjusting (most) of the casts’ eyes!

(I say most because a couple of them already had distinct eyes to begin with, cuz at the least Ike is still up for debate).

Okayyyyy, so I need to go over a few things before I go on any further with Gaming Detective’s Story:

-The parts of each chapter will be fragmented (well by chapter obviously), but it’ll be separated into even smaller parts just to save my sanity a bit—(AND to ensure parts of the story can actually make it to the public!!)

-Yes, I am still working on the sprites (VERY slowly, but surely.) Chances are the written script will be posted before any of the finished sprites (and any cgs that come in the far future)

LOPIAA Academy, or Lamia and Odilla’s Prestigious Institute and Arts Academy (if you wanna get technical with it) is a university that nurtures the talents of their students to shape the world for a better tomorrow.

A few even say that some of the world’s brightest figures have graduated the academy to further pave the way for future Ultimates.

Why do I say all this? Cuz As of March XX 20XX I, Alexis Valerie, am LOPIAA Academy’s first Ultimate Hobbyist!

Now I wanna ask you something. Yeah you! WAYYYYY IN THE BACK!! D’ya ever get a sense of emptiness?

Like no matter how much you eat, you’re ALWAYS hungry? Or when you find a favorite series that you search for every morsel of content you can to satisfy the itch in your brain that no others can? (Bear with me on this).

Cuz Every time I feel that nagging voice creep in my brain, I do anything; even the most mundane of tasks just to soothe the savage beast (though it only works for a little while–). I’ve gotten into gaming, different forms of art, I even picked up cooking as a bit of a hobby; And I baked a pretty good cake without almost burning down the house three times!! And to think a little meet n greet of mine is how I got scouted in the first place!

So The week before the semester began, my family took us to the zoo to celebrate! The day was filled with checking out all the animals (though I gotta say, not a real big fan of the spiders—). It was pretty fun!

Now….I look back on this.

It never crossed my mind at the time, but if I didn’t wander off on my own..

Then the following days wouldn’t have played out the way they did.

I never thought I’d make a post like this again, but here we are—

Okay. So I know I’ve been working on this for a while..and as much as I love it, certain aspects of the project are getting a bit hard to stay motivated with (writers block is apparently much worse than I thought—3-3;).

I might be taking a break from writing out the script from Gaming Detective.

Let me make this clear: I am not, repeating I am NOT discarding this project all together, okay? I just need a bit of a regroup and even try to figure out a way to tell the story where I’d be more than motivated to work on that aspect.

I’ll still post the rest of the casts’ bios and any of the art stuff that happened to get finished for any of the Quadrilogy. I both apologize for the long wait or the lack of content and I thank those who see this blog for their patience.

Okayyyyy, so on today’s episode of impulsive design stuff—I wanted to try giving a couple of characters different kinds of eyes—! (And if I follow through with this thankfully not EVERY character needs to, since they’re already diverse as is. Here’s a couple that I’ve already done—!

Also I looked into the different eye shapes and—apparently the shape of a characters’ eyes really DO tell a lot about a personality. It’s fascinating!! :0

So! *clasps hands together* I come to you with something a tad different (well—I tried it before but I haven’t done it since 2019, anyway—^^;)

Once again, I wanted to try making something for one of my projects. Did this come out the way I wanted it to back then? Sure it did! But knowing me now..I knew for a fact I could do better than this—

So like my other impulsive spurts of courage (or boredom), I tried again:

This version may not be the final product but I had an idea of what the projects’ title card could look like!! So here it is!! ^0^ (also writing for the upcoming chapter IS coming, I promise!! It’s just taking a bit cuz of school stuff quickly piling up—3-3;)

I think of all the attempts I made at doing just ONE of these projects, I’ve never actually made a proper title card for any of em—^^; like I’ve made an attempt to do one, but uh…it didn’t turn out so well—

Could that be hinting at what I’m making next? Yes.

Is it possible that this is an impulsive decision to make one right this second? Absolutely.

For years the Giovanni Family name has made the shelves of many stores across the country. From Beauty products, Groundbreaking food gadgets, even their own cleaning solutions. The most recent in line? Sebastian Giovanni for..a different reason: every product his family has made, Sebastian found ways to promote the product so that even the most niche of places would know the Giovanni Name. LOPIAA has seen this potential and wish to nurture it, as to one day bring the now ultimate Salesman out of his family’s shadow..

Cocky, delusional and maybe a liiitte bit insecure. For someone who can be a smooth talker when the time comes for it…it’s safe to say that it boosts his ego, maybe a little too much. Though at times his heart is in the right place, how he shows this isn’t the most conventional for the group ^^;

Okay so i know i finished the GD gang’s designs..and before you ask no, im not making MAJOR changes to them (trust me, the main components of their designs are set in stone.)…the only thing im looking at is their eyes. Some of them are fine (Ike, Aiko, Asano, etc), but the eyes of a few characters will change to continue giving them a liiittle bit more of a distinction between one another ^^;

And to start this off, we have a sketch of what Aubrey’s new eyes might look like!!!

And again, not everyone’s gonna have this change; though I DO need to practice different eye forms with future designs as well..soo this is a start :3

A harmless little prank can sometimes go a long way of changing a kids life forever. That’s Trevor Huckleberry: a boy who blamed his grandmas disappearance on an alleged alien invasion in Crimson Creek began his search to identify what took her to where and why, let alone even HOW! As far as LOPIAA understands, this experience alone was what gave them the ultimate Conspiracy Theorist (which would’ve been sent to a psyche ward if not for the binders worth of research he shared with our schools paranormal investigators).

Skittish, nervous, but blunt; this farm boy was born and raised to fear the paranormal, more than believe in superstition, and possibly even civilization itself. His trust issues make it difficult for him to have even a tight social circle, from how little most of his peers take him seriously.

In a small village there resides a boy who at the age of 12 hunted his first ever animal; a big brown bear that stalked him in the woods for two weeks. One he returned home the child swore that one day he would wear this felt with pride. Today he’s hunted any game that one can imagine, and with the help of four dozen eggs a day for 18 years and a growth of experience, here stands one Octavius Wylder; LOPIAA’s Ultimate Hunter.

Loud, loyal, boisterous, and almost no filter, that’s Octavius. The pride in his title prompts him to have a kind of Chauvinistic air that disconnects from modern society; tending to act first then ask questions later.
