Pixel sprite sheets of the Killing School Term’s twisted sister mascots, Monobaku and Nijibaku, designed by Sky#5548 on Discord! He does commissions with super canon-looking results, and pretty soon we’ll be able to share the awesome results of his sprite sheet work on the whole cast! A strong-willed idiot with a heart of gold, Honda delivers full enthusiasm to any task he is given - though he can’t guarantee he’ll do it well. Despite his ridiculous ability in many intricate fields of engineering, he has a very simple approach to his work and operates on a basis of natural instinct. He finds himself easily drawn to others, always excited to contribute to the discussion or make new friends.

In stark contrast to his public image as the pinnacle of male fashion and beauty, Tarou Satou is a curt and snippy businessman with no time for entertaining the foolishness of others. He often finds himself shutting off the outside world for days on end in order to remain ahead of schedule on his bespoke work. It’s a wonder he’s able to maintain such a perfect reputation and physique with his blunt demeanour and fixation on remaining in control of his surroundings.

Unlike his peers, Kage Deguchi is not present on Oubaitori campus grounds. Instead, he embodies the unique position of an ‘overlooker’, made to engage with the class through a console in the apartment he is confined to. Despite his sharp attitude and flippant regard for the safety of most he observes, he seems to harbor concern for the well-being of those he grows close to. He hopes that he can use those in the killing game to piece together his own broken memories from afar and solve the mystery of why the mastermind requires his inclusion.

Despite her cold and calculating nature, Naoko has managed to be the focal point of quite a few controversies - from her rocky history as a high school mathlete to the suspicious conditions of her seemingly forced ascension to Ultimate status, the paparazzi have hounded her since she stepped under their radar. She has an active disdain for reporters, and wishes that the celebrity culture surrounding her could vanish. In an ideal world, she would be left alone permanently.

Teijo is infamous in his field for his perfect prosecution record. Whilst his innocent appearance is a useful façade to swing jury votes and appeal to judges, it’s his brain which is his greatest strength. Though his mannerisms are childish and his tantrums frequent, he operates on logic rather than emotion to condemn both guilty and innocent to whatever sentences he deems fit - when it comes to debating Teijo, there is no way to win.

Not only is Sasuke the sole heir of the Akashiro fortune, but he is a ‘legacy’ - his father, Akihiko Akashiro, was an Ultimate Hotelier in his younger years. Whilst some may find his ‘inherited talent’ divisive, he can’t help feeling that his skill is greatly amplified by his bloodline. However, this has had the side effect of inflating his ego, and as such he has become quite the vain flirt.

An effervescent, cloyingly sweet belle with a golden voice and a taste for the theatrical. Though she stands in the shadow of her client, Tora is undoubtedly the boss. Whilst some would think she’d feel exploited being owned by her parent company, she is eternally grateful to be a representative for the music industry.

Serious and shy, Tsunade’s biggest hurdle in life is the total disdain she has for her talent. Despite her father’s fame as a media mogul with his own demolition show, she always manages to be overlooked by the paparazzi. Her biggest goal is to move out from under the shadow of the Igarashi name and become her own person.

The silently punkish Ringo Enokida is a force of much tension. He’s revered in journalism as a rebel rocker with a penchant for expletives despite his mute nature - his assigned translator, fellow Ultimate student Tora Chiba, describes his sign language as “harsh noise”. As the fourth alternate in the infamous rock band taking Japan by storm, ARAKNIDZ, he is better known by his stage name - Kumo. Without ever opening his mouth, his percussion skills and violent gestures paint a thousand words of his character.

The flustered romantic of the class, “Queen of the Silver Screen” Kami is driven primarily by her search for a Prince Charming. Despite her limited lexicon in person, her writing prowess is unmatched and she has thousands of fans across the globe. Though she has never revealed her identity to the public, she uses the androgyny of her name to her advantage. She hopes to use the publicity of Oubaitori Academy’s welcome parade as her debut into the male-dominated world of cinema.

A constant maternal voice of cool reason, Reiki seeks to protect those within Oubaitori Academy as undeserving wayward souls. She despises the mastermind for interfering with the natural path of fate, hoping to use her god-given talent of spirit communication in order to revert nature’s course and break free of the killing game’s grip.

There are three things on Rikka’s mind at any given time: mutiny, exploration and treasure. Her raw strength and determination are somewhat undermined by her boisterous and immature attitude, but her moral compass is steadfast. Armed with dedication, grit and a concerningly large lexicon of curse words, Rikka is not somebody to be trifled with.

Ever the philanthropist, Junpei actively seeks to better the lives of people around him. Far from observant, his strengths are much more in communication. He wants to create a safe and comfortable space for everybody, and diffuse the tension that the killing game sparks with his confectionery - but this often results in him being trampled all over, or regarded as “weak”.

Although a bit too hardworking, Ayeka can be very easily overwhelmed. She’s one of the smarter members of the student body, but her attention is often devoted to less relevant trivia. The investigative, detective-like role she strives to achieve in the Killing School Term has the potential be a great asset in solving cases, but only if she can overcome her rash train of thought.

Ever the charismatic life of the party, Ken Sugawara is a total wild-card. His total lack of common sense completely contradicts the emotional depth to which he can understand his fellow classmates, and as such he chooses to delegate himself to the role of cheerleader.

The protagonist of Danganronpa: Lock•Down, Maeko is an ardent believer in the value of dedication to a craft. She’s a steadfast student of Oubaitori Academy, one of three schools in Japan owned by the government-certified Ultimate Initiative. Whilst she has a tendency to press a little too hard to find information, her headstrong attitude is a key contribution to the team.
