How Long Are Nagito’s Toes?

Today we are breaking down how long Nagito's big boy toe is. Specifically, that one because I'm too lazy to do all 5..... :(

Now in order to find the true length of Nagito's big toe we first need to find out how tall he is!

That's easy...it's on his wiki!

Nagito Komaeda is 180 cm or in American terminology 5'9"!

Now...our next step is to find out what Nagito's shoe size is...how will we find that out you ask?

Well, if we find out what the common shoe size for the average 5'9" Japanese male we will find out what his /average/ foot length is, which will help us a whole lot in finding out the length of his toes!

The average height of a Japanese male around 2012-2013 (The original release date of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair) is 5'7"...and the Average shoe size for a 5'7" male is around what Americans would call a 7 or 8....but since Nagito is around 3 inches taller than the average Japanese male we assume he is around 9 or a 10. Considering 10 is the largest commercially available shoe in Japan. So, with this new information, let's go with around a 9.5 (US size).

Now that we have Nagito's average shoe size! It's time to get down into business...is toe size...

The Average foot length of someone with a 9.5 shoe size is approximately 10 inches. 

Now you're probably wondering what we can do with this information? Now that we know his foot length it would be very beneficial to see an example of how long his toes are compared to the rest of his foot. Lucky us, we're gifted with such information!

In this official piece of artwork Nagito is seen without shoes or socks...so now we can measure and compare his big toe to the rest of his foot! (which we now know is 10 inches!)

We can tell from this image that Nagito's big toe takes up around what I would estimate as 1/3 of his foot....so 1/3 of 10 inches is....3.3 inches !!!

So rounded down, Nagito Komaeda from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Big toe is approximately 3 inches in length!
