I can't believe you'd bake cookies for Golden Tate! I've always had a bad feeling about him, like he's a scumbag. I have no idea why, but I think it's just his aura and swagger I can't trust.

Marshawn Lynch on Super Bowl: I was expecting the ball
Evidently Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch just doesnât like talking to the media here in the U.S.
Lynch talked with a Turkish television network last week during an interview that lasted nearly 30 minutes. Lynch is in Turkey, along with former Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams and Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge for an American Football Without Barriers camp in the country.
NTV Sporâs Ismail Senol conducting the interview and at one point ask Lynch about the Seahawksâ final offensive play in Super Bowl XLIX. Head Coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevel were heavily criticized for not calling Lynchâs number near the goal line. Instead, Russell Wilson threw an interception that clinch the game for the Patriots.
âTo be honest with you, I would be lying if I didnât tell you that I was expecting the ball. Yes, I was expecting the ball. But in life, these things happen. Like I told a reporter after the game, itâs a team sport,â he said in the interview.
Lynch then suggests that while these things do happen, they may have happened to him for a specific reason.
âI had no problem with the decision of the play calling. I mean, you know, I think it was more of a ⌠how do I say this? When you look at me, and you let me run that ball in, I am the face of the nation. You know, MVP of the Super Bowl, thatâs pretty much the face of the nation at that point of time.
âI donât know what went into that call. I mean, maybe it was a good thing that I didnât get the ball. I mean, you know, it cost us the Super Bowl. I mean, I have full ⌠I have full confidence in my teammates to execute that plan because weâve done it so many more times. But would I love to had the ball in? Yes, I would have.
âBut the game is over, and I am in Turkey.â
Marshawn Lynch seeks trademark for âIâm just here so I donât get finedâÂ
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has applied to trademark his oft-repeated phrase during Super Bowl Media Day: âIâm just here so I wonât get fined.â
The Seattle Times reported Monday that Lynch signed the trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office last week. The application seeks to control apparel sold with that phrase.
âWe heard from our fans and so many of them were saying that they wanted that phrase on the clothing,â Chris Bevans, who runs Lynchâs âBeast Modeâ apparel line, told ESPN.com. âThis is just listening to the marketplace.â
Lynch repeated that phrase over and over at Super Bowl Media Day on Jan. 27 so that he wouldnât be fined by the NFL.
The newspaper noted that this is not Lynchâs first trademark application. He first filed to trademark the âBeast Modeâ term at the end of his rookie season in 2008.
He also turned another Super Bowl remark into a trademark, when last year he gained control of the phrase, âIâm just about that action, bossâ and is selling clothing with that phrase on his website.

Several Seahawks players 2015 salaries guaranteed as of SaturdayÂ
While the Seattle Seahawks are recovering from their crushing Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots, several of their players 2015 salaries became fully guaranteed as of midnight Friday night.
Wide receiver Doug Baldwinâs 2015 contract, worth $2.8 million, became guaranteed for $2.3 million Saturday. Baldwin also will receive a $1.6 million signing bonus.
Baldwin is under contract with Seattle through 2016, when he is scheduled to make $4 million with a $1.6 million signing bonus. In his four seasons with the Seahawks, Baldwin has totaled 196 catches for 2,757 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Defensive end Michael Bennett will receive his entire $6 million salary for the 2015. He played in all 16 games and registered seven sack.
Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avrilâs contract for 2015, with a base salary of $7.5 million, also become guaranteed on Saturday.
Avril signed a four-year extension with the Hawks in December and will earn $7 million in 2018 with a signing bonus of $500,000 and a roster bonus of $500,000 if he is still on the team.
The Seahawks will also be taking care of the âLegion of Boom,â who many consider to be the best secondary in the league.
Safety Kam Chancellorâs $4.55 million contract became guaranteed. Heâs under contract with the Seahawks until 2017, and will earn a base salary of $6.8 million for the 205 season.
Chancellor totaled 78 tackles in 2014 with one interception and one forced fumble in 14 games. In five seasons with the Seahawks, he has totaled 398 tackles with eight interceptions.
Seahawks safety Earl Thomas had his $5.5 million base salary for the 2015 season fully guaranteed Saturday. He started 16 games in 2014 and registered 97 tackles with one interception.
New dad and cornerback Richard Shermanâs $10 million base salary for the 2015 season became fully guaranteed Saturday.
And just like Bennett, Sherman will receive his entire $6 million salary for the 2015 season after it became guaranteed and safety Earl Thomas also had his $5.5 million base salary for the 2015 season fully guaranteed Saturday.
The Seahawks will be handing out some big bucks during the offseason. Theyâre also expected to re-sign quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Marshawn Lynch to big money contracts.

Seahawks S Earl Thomas to undergo surgery for torn labrum, out 6-8 months -Â
The Seattle Seahawksâ vaunted secondary was a beaten up group in the Super Bowl.
Three of the four starters in Seattleâs defensive backfield played with significant injuries in the 28-24 loss to New England. The latest to be confirmed was All-Pro free safety Earl Thomas, who has a torn labrum in his left shoulder and is scheduled for surgery, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports.
Surgery was the likely outcome after Thomas suffered a dislocated shoulder in the first half of the NFC championship game. He returned to play the second half in the victory over Green Bay and played in last Sundayâs Super Bowl against New England wearing a brace.
Thomas was in for every defensive play of the loss to the Patriots and missed only four plays of the NFC title game.
On Monday, Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Thomas might need surgery but was unsure at that time. ESPN first reported Thomasâ need for surgery.
Thomas, strong safety Kam Chancellor and cornerback Richard Sherman all played against the Patriots with significant injuries. Sherman has ligament damage in his left elbow after being injured in the NFC title game and may need Tommy John surgery.
Chancellor played with a torn medial collateral ligament and deep bone bruise in his left knee after he bumped knees with a teammate in practice two days before the Super Bowl. Chancellor told the teamâs website that he was initially told he would not be able to play against the Patriots.
But just like Thomas, Sherman and Chancellor were in for every play.
âThat was a heroic thing that those guys did to play and all three of those guys might wind up getting fixed up here,â Carroll said Monday. âThey all knew it and they wanted to play for their teammates and they did exactly that and did it in great fashion.â
What Brady said to Sherman.
This is what Pete Carroll said after the TD catch before the half. This is the just the way that man thinks. He doesnât play scared.Â
