i would've liked to show all the lutz takeoff positions but my brain cells weren't firing when i was doodling this! anywho, here's what's happening: (1 - white) tapping his right toepick behind him; (2 - blue) drawing his left foot underneath him while maintaining a distinct outside edge; (3 - missing) vaulting up into the air before he rotates 180 degrees; (4 - orange) coming into air position!
