Here’s a nice thing I wish more Pagans, polytheists, Heathens, witches, and the like would try but never will because people are shitty:

Don’t say that you’re for diversity if you aren’t actually prepared to accept diverse viewpoints.

I know this sounds like an easy thing to do, but it’s not because it involves things like:

certain polytheists accepting that ancestor worship is not as important to some polytheistic traditions as you think it is

witches accepting witches who curse

hardcore reconstructionist Heathens accepting that not everyone wants to be as hardcore as they are (I know this is especially hard) or even just accepting that not everyone wants to be a reconstructionist

people not believing your deities exist, or seeing the deities differently than you do

people not having the resources to do a spell or ritual exactly the way you were taught, disabled people needing accommodations or just straight up not being able to do “traditional” religious things

Does this mean you need to accept racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, classist, and other bigoted rhetoric? Of course not, but it would really help if some of you moved past giving this idea of diversity lip service,]

Honestly I could go on but I think you get it.

The Siren’s “Learn Your Lesson” Hex

This is a hex that will cause your target to learn their lesson and make their blunders come to light, whether it be fucking with you, a loved one, a friend, whatever. This hex will make them learn.

What You’ll Need

A sea shell with their name written on it

Another sea shell, preferably the same type and size as the shell with the name on it

Black string

Metal tongs

Paper

Pencil/Pen

Black Candle

Black Salt

Salt Water

What To Do

Write each wrong they’ve done on separate pieces of paper.

Burn each paper from the black candle and place each burning paper into the shell with the tongs.

Sprinkle black salt onto the ashes inside the shell and flick the salt water over it while say “Each wrong you’ve done to me and others will come to light and your errors will cost you, you will be treated the same by friends and strangers as you have treated others until you learn your lesson and make amends with everyone you’ve hurt.”

Take the other shell and tie it to the shell with ashes in it to close the ashes inside.

Bury the shell in a spot that will be shaded most parts of the day.

Once you feel they’ve learned their lesson you can break the hex by digging it up and pouring the ashes and salt into a fire.

If you can I’d recommend doing this at nighttime, outdoors in the general direction of where the sea is from you.

FAQ: How can I learn more about polyamory?

I get a lot of questions from people looking to dip their toes in the water and learn more about polyamory, usually because they think they might be poly or want to try a poly relationship.

There are lots of resources out there - in fact, if you’re just looking for general information, you’re better served doing a few Google searches than just asking me for resources, especially since there are so many specific issues. Are you looking for resources on poly dating? Poly parenting? Coming out as poly? Figuring out whether you’re poly? Witch Tip

Get a bunch of decent size twigs and put them in a jar. Every time you get mad or frustrated, feed all of your bad vibes and negativity into a twig and snap it in half, releasing all of the bad energy and destroying it.

Could also be used as a curse if negative energy was fed into a twig about a person and the intent was there.

May I have a reading? I'm struggling a bit. My name is snail, and could I ask for the golden thread tarot? I'm scared I severely messed up a really close relationship with the person I care about the most. I guess what I'm asking for is if there's a chance that we'll heal and move on together from this. Hi Snail. I’m sorry you’re going through such a rough time. Here’s what came up:

You two have a very strong connection, that much is obvious. It’s a good balance, and there’s a lot of emotional action within that. The problem lies in the lack of admitting truths, whether it be to yourself or to the other person, and then acting on them. It’s time to stop hiding behind these barriers that you’ve created. They may have protected you before, but they’ve gotten to the point where they do more harm than good. It’s not going to be painless, but opening up and clearing the air will allow for the next part of the journey to begin.

I know I've got a couple reading requests in my inbox

I promise I'm going to do them today. Things got a little crazy here. Long story short, our back door was destroyed, someone got into the school and started walking the halls, stole money from a student's room and it was just kinda crazy. I ended up spending last night replacing my door knob so no one could get into my room while we're back doorless.
