So also, I may have done an impromptu time line of Batman games from 1989 til about 1995 on stream (which took 28 minutes, once it gets uploaded to YouTube, Ill add it here) Just to show how out of control Game rights could be at times in the 90s.

Also there's 3 addendum points that I need to correct.

1. I forgot to mention that Batman Return of the Joker was NES and Game Boy only, the 16 Bit versions (Genesis/SNES) got canceled, but there are prototypes online

2. Batman The Animated Series for Game Boy came out in 1993, I just lumped it in with the Adventures of Batman and Robin stuff since Konami had those rights.

3. I decided against adding Batman Forever: The Arcade Game to the board because it came out in 1996, so I figured it was beyond the scope :)

But yeah, I figured someone would find this hella interesting, and would you believe i did most of this by memory? Late Edit : Here's the youtube video of it :

Stream Schedule! Also couple of notes : On Saturday, The Adventures of Batman and Robin decided to crash on me after level 2, normally there's a chat-made rule that if something like that happens, It's considered an auto-win, but tbh I kinda wanna finish that one off, hence it being back this week. (I'll probably cave and use an emulator, or game genie to get to the point where the game stopped (End of Level 2) ) Vectorman 2 being on here is a much simpler explanation, I just didn't realize Vectorman was gonna take the entire 2 Hour time slot (and actually went closer to 3 hours) So it gets a stand alone stream

I would up beating Vectorman on Stream Thursday night! However, I got the cheat ending because of using the debug code (next to last level was giving me hell so i just went for it), so i also added a couple pics of me beating it legit a couple years ago lol

Alright, So now that the Console Anthology Series wrapped up (and did good, so i'll do more of those in the future) for this week's Streams, I figured i'd do some Sega Genesis games that i've put off doing for years!

So, after swapping out to Soul Calibur III at the last second, I think it may be for the best that this is the last week for the Console Anthology Series : PS1 (Don't worry i'll bring it back down the road, I just may be burned out after 8 PS1 streams in a row lol) Anyways here's the schedule :

Let's see going through the launch games (quick review... sorta) Haven't Played : Sega Worldwide Soccer and Pebble Beach Golf Links Aged awfully : Virtua Fighter and Daytona USA (Literally just the original versions, grab VF Remix and Daytona USA Championship Circuit for Saturn instead) Aged better than I thought : Clockwork Knight Aged gracefully : Panzer Dragoon

Ok so i'm gonna try and take @hunterjamie 's advice and actually post my schedule around (I'm not gonna have it dominate the blog, don't worry) Also, I figured it's about time to try and get back to streaming after burning out... so (Warning : Shameless Self Promotion) If you wanna see a somewhat gothy game historian (who's also quite a bit of a dork) who likes playing mostly retro and indie games, then there's the twitch and the schedule! ^_^

It actually happened, I got burned out from streaming

So for some folks who don't know (And the two or so who do), I stream as nerdsoftheasylum on twitch and outside of moving, act of god (winter storm, tornado, etc) or being sick, I haven't missed a stream since I started waaay back in 2017, and especially when I started having a regular schedule in 2019. I have no clue what happened though but between everything, about a month ago now (March 6th) I just wound up having the burnout breaking point on stream after an hour or so. I'm guessing literally everything kinda just caught up with me (Stress from Non-Streaming Job, Anxiety and Depression, Just disappointment from a ton of stuff streaming and non streaming related, etc) So for the last month or so, I've kinda just been trying to figure out a lot of things tbh (with the help of my boyfriend, a few other friends and my sibling @hunterjamie), Other hobbies outside of gaming, What needs to change about the streams, hell even for the first time in my life realizing what genre's I actually love, and which ones I like, but don't have the best skills for. I do know I feel better, and I plan on getting back to streaming soon, possibly within the next few weeks, but yeah. (Also sorry for the rambling style of this post, I mainly reblog or post pics, so this is a very VERY rare text post, although I may do more down the road) P.S Circling back to the hobbies thing, I've at least remembered how much I love comic books , but oddly enough mainly from Image and Dark Horse comics. Tl; Dr : I've burned out and i'm trying to figure out myself for once
