I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR ART!! The way you color, line, shade, everything is perfect. Iâm especially in love with how you draw comics, could you perhaps show/explain how you sketch out a comic strip?
Thanks man! Hereâs a basic run down of how I do my regular comics, though my animated comics are a secret I will take to the grave ;p
No matter the format, if itâs normal side to side comic or a vertical webtoon, HAVE A PLAN. 1. Write a basic short script.
2. Plan out your location. Prep 3D models if you are using them. If not, sketch out your setting so you know how it looks like.
3. Draft out all your pages layout with stick figures. Revise the script if needed, trim down pages so you arenât overloading yourself.
4. Go over the drafts again with a cleaner draft version, roughly fleshing out the stick figures.
5. Put in your clean sketches that will be ready for linework.
6. Now you can work on the pages individually one by one to completion.
