I’m happy to hear that you‘re in a better mindset nowadays. You looked so healthy on the television last week. Sometimes, even if it’s bad news you’re getting, it feels better to know one way or the other…

The honor was all mine, working with you, dear boy. Even in the somewhat short time you worked for us, you did far more than I ever have. 

It’s… like we’re talking about someone who’s gone, though, sometimes. It’s silly, I think. You’ve got a life ahead of you, thank Christ. A family to go back to and possibly expand.

I feel a lot better. Of course I’m sad and heartbroken about it but I remember a good friend of mine telling me that it’s always better to go out on your own terms than to be forced to do it. And you’re right, it does feel better to know.

I could never do more than what you did for us, Regal. Never. You were amazing out there and I’m just so glad to have learned from the best.

It’s not silly because one way or the other, we’re all going to have to retire from wrestling at some point. Whether it be because of injuries or other stuff, all roads lead there. And I’m just so happy to even have been apart of it all. I have my family to think about now.

Goodness, lovely to see you back around here again… We all missed you sort of as a general rule, I think it’s safe to say.

I wish I could have been there. For last Monday, I mean. It was a bit sudden to make any plans to travel, but… I um. I appreciated the mention. It was an honor.

I’ve really missed you guys too and being around in general. It’s been tough but I think that I’m finally in a good place with everything.

Don’t worry about it. I know that you’re a really busy guy and you have to focus on your work but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate what you did for me. For everything you did. The honor was knowing you and having you as my mentor all of these years. So thank you.
