There are lots of fantastic free options for lens flares, light leaks, and film grain out there. I created a few of my own that I am making available here:

NATUMS LENS FLARES AND LIGHT LEAKS

NATUMS DIGITAL EFFECTS - These are digital effects shot on an LCD screen so you see defined RGB pixels. They can create interesting effects.

NATUMS VHS EFFECTS (ADDED Aug. 1, 2012)

There is no perfect grain or flare for every project though, so I consolidated a list of the best free ones I’ve found.

sometimes i wish i could pause time. im in the parking lot of my job right now listening to music and hoping i never have to get out of this car. i dont want to go to work. shit. i have a show coming up and another show some time after that. i dont know when yet. sometimes i feel like i dont actually exist. maybe i worded that wrong. i feel more like an observer than someone living a life. yeah, thats it. ive always felt like i was on the outside looking in. never felt like a part of anything. maybe i have too many secrets. maybe its depression or maybe im really not in this bitch.
