Hey guys, sorry Ive been so busy lately and havent posted much. I also havent heard anything super exciting recently, but I also havent had to much too much time to search either. I just checked out this track on Jakwob's Soundcloud and its pretty awesome. If possible, listen to this shit on some goood speakers. The bass slaps hards and and sound overall is full and clean. - dan K Jakwob - Let It Fall by jakwob
Saw this today, and its extremely real and inspiration and somewhat nostalgic. Everyone should watch this. It moves me everytime.
Kaskade & Dada Life feat. Dan Black - Ice
Kaskade's new album is out today, and it actually isn't too bad. It's a two disc album, featuring tons of collaborations and remixes. Check out this awesome track he did with Dada Life. It has that signature Dada bass and beat, but combines it with Kaskade's take on vocals. The result is great! Check out this sweet track and go grab Kaskade's album on itunes today! - Dan K

A-Trak - How Deep Is Your Love (A-Track Dub For Mehdi)
A-Trak uploaded this track with its new name onto his soundcloud a little while ago. It was in response to the recent and tragic death of Dj Mehdi. Here's what he had to say. Listen and download it on Soundcloud. "I did this remix over the summer, and when I was close to finishing it I played it to my friend, the irreplaceable DJ Mehdi. We often played each other our productions for feedback. As it turns out he and Riton were visiting New York so they stopped by my apartment. I was working on the main version of the remix, the vocal version. I knew I would make a few alternate edits during the mixdown. The funny thing was, Mehdi's favorite part was the ending! He and Riton suggested that I have that part come in earlier. My reaction was: that would work well for the dub version. And sure enough, when I finished mixing it down I made a dub with their suggestion. When I sent it to Mehdi shortly after, he responded (as a joke) that I should call it "Dub For Mehdi". He included it in his "Tunisian Summer" mix. And then, as we all know, the unimaginable happened and we lost our dear friend. The least I can do now is name the edit after him. This one's for you, Memed. A-Trak" How Deep Is Your Love? (A-Trak Dub aka Dub For Mehdi) by DFA Records
Fegluk & Example - Plastic Smile
Hey guys I've returned to post some more good music. I do apologize for the lack of posts lately. I just moved into my new place and started school so I am very busy. In order to keep giving you guys the dank beats, I have decided that I will try to post music more often and write less on each post to make up for my busy schedule. Hope this works for everyone! Here is a great track from my favorite Brazillian electro house duo's known as Felguk! You might remember their song 2-nite which was featured in the Electric Daisy Carnival teaser video a few years back or you might remember their amazing set from EDC that year. Either way these two guys make some great music and their released are ones that I always look forward to. This track titled "Plastic Smile" is a collaboration between the Felguk duo and Example. As far as I know it is their first original Dubstep track to date. Check it out and grab it below! Let us know what you think.

Porter Robinson - Spitfire EP OUT NOW!
It's finally here!! The highly anticipated EP from the now huge up and comer from North Carolina. I've been following this guy for a few years now, and I have even heard some his old hardstyle and trance stuff that he made back in the day as Ekowraith. His name is Porter Robinson and this 19-year-old already has some gained serious achievements while managing to finish high school and get into college. By the time he graduated high school, Porter Robinson had already topped Beatport Charts and Performed nationwide and internationally. He has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the business including Deadmau5, Skrillex, Felguk, David Guetta, Diplo, Afrojack, and Dada Life just to name a few. PR is truly living the young producer's dream as he continues to release huge originals and remixes for people like Gaga, and Avicii. He has recently been touring with Tiesto on his college invasion tour, and has just announced his North American tour dates, which you can scope out below. I have become a true fan of this kid, especially since he's not much younger than I am. I first came to love his track with Lazy Rich and Sue Cho titled "Hello". It is a massive electro house banger filled with heavy hitting basslines. However, these days a heavy bassline in an electro house song is nothing special. The thing I really came to love about PR's music is his huge build ups and massive drops that keep the dancefloor moving, but the most distinct element I found in his music is his trancey breakdowns. I connected with these sounds instantly because I grew up listening to a lot of old school techno, trance, and hardstyle stuff. He probably got the influences from when he used to produce such types of music. The Spitfire EP is released on Skrillex's label called OWSLA. It includes more massive tracks from Mr. Robinson, and truly shows his growth and development as an EDM producer. I first heard the title track "Spitfire" back in February when Porter played an amazing set at Control at the Avalon in Hollywood. I heard it again a few weeks later at his show in Santa Cruz with Lucky Date. I believe it is one of the first Dubstep tracks he made/played out. It is a massive track that still incorporates the musical elements I have come to expect from Porter. Overall, I feel the EP doesn't have enough of the Electro House tracks that I'm used to seeing, but he does incorporate some solid Dubstep and Moombah. His new Dubstep tracks and his Moombahcore track, "100% In The Bitch" hit hard, and have great build ups and breakdowns. The Spitfire EP is an awesome mix of genres and sounds! The originals are all great and the remixes each offer different sounds and feel but are equally awesome. Check out all the tracks for free below and be sure buy the rest of the EP from beatport. Make sure you show Porter some love on his Facebook and on Beatport, he definitely deserves it!

Congorock - Sirius (Original Mix)
Finally, a new Congorock original! This is his first original that he has released since "Babylon". If you don't know Congorock, or his older song Babylon then your missing out! Babylon is an excellent song with a very catchy synth line, and some groovin almost tribal sounding drum beats. The video is awesome too! Check it out below. Congorock does it again with his new track Sirius its loaded with that familiar synth repetition and almost tribal groove to the track. The drums hit way harder and the sounds come jumping out at you, making the song feel deeper and wilder. The various build ups and break downs keep the song moving forward, while also holding an almost tech style repetition. Watch the Babylon video, and listen to the new track Sirius below. Be sure to check out Congorock on beatport and facebook. Show him support by liking/following him and buying some of his music!

Moombahton
Hey guys so if you haven't already seen the huge surge in Moombahton tracks, or don't know what it is yet, then listen up. Back in 2009 Dave Nada slowed down the Afrojack remix of "Moombah" by Silvio Ecomo and Chuckie to 108 bpm and called it Moombahton because of its reggaeton feel. Now Moombahton is beginning to take the world by storm. So listen to a few Moombahton tracks and let us know what you think.

Dada Life - Happy Violence
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0AD3w67_-o&feature=player_embedded Hey guys sorry this post came a little late. I got stuck in the Hurricane over on the east coast. It turned out to be pretty awesome although it was quite a stressful situation with the airlines. I got a few more days to check out some cool stuff like the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Bank of America Tower, Central Park, and the Guggenheim museum. All of those things were amazing! Since I have one more day here I'm gonna travel over to Williamsburg to check out the Fool's Gold Record Store! But okay so the crazy Swedish electro house duo known as Dada Life just released their new track "Happy Violence". It sounds like the very familiar hard hitting sound that the Duo is known for. It is loaded with fat greasy basslines that we have learned to love and a huge pounding kick. The melody is sure to stay in your head after you hear it. Check it out in its full below and also watch the new Music Video they made for it. Don't forget to show these guys some major love on Beatport and tune into their Facebook, Twitter, or Website to stay up to date with these dudes. Don't miss out if you ever have a chance to see these guys live, they are quite the entertainers!
Skrillex - Right Here HQ 320
Sonny Moore, who is better known by the name Skrillex is probably the hottest electronic producers on the scene today. This LA based DJ/Producer was well known as the front man from the post-hardcore band From First To Last. After leaving the band in 2007, Moore went on to try some solo stuff and in 2008 he began to produce as Skrillex and went on to releas his debut ep in 2010 called "My Name Is Skrillex" as a free download. He eventually released a new ep titled Scary Monster and Nice Sprites on Deadmau5's label mau5trap and Big Beat records. This ep catapulted Skrillex into the star he is today as 8 of the tracks took the top ten positions on Beatport's chart. Skrillex is one busy guy as he now tours the world playing shows almost everyday, but somehow he has managed to still provide new tunes for his many fans. Check out this new track titled "Right Here" and be sure to check out his Facebook and Twitter pages for regular updates.

Bart B More
I've been following Bart B More for a few years now when he emerged in the Dutch scene producing some great techy dutch house beats. His sound now encompasses a wider range of styles and his production quality only improves. This guy continues to produce dancefloor hits like "So It Goes" from 2007 to the newer track "Traction" which was featured in the recent Dada Life mix. He has had numerous releases on huge labels like Boys Noize and Ultra Records. Bart also has his own label called Secure Recordings which has releases from great artists like Diplo, Bassjackers, and Bingo Players. This guy is just surrounded by great music! So be sure to check him out and listen to the tracks below.
