SO I woke up this morning
Yes, but in my dream it all makes sense. Just when I try to recreate what happened after waking up it doesn’t. I know, but she’s still cute. Thank you so much.

Exactly. I think he bought it for a cat… but we were just in the grocery store all of the sudden, picking up cat food. She’s great and totally cute and I’m trying to take care of her the best I can. I love her so much.
Wow so one of those dreams where you've strayed somewhere and keep wondering 'how the fuck did I end up here?' right? Haha I'm glad you love her I hand picked her. She isn't small anymore though now.

That’s crazy. I had a dream that I was my favourite TV character and I was in the season finale buying cat food.

And I had this dream that 5 months passed by and I didn't even remember what happened.
Christmas Mistakes || Vero and Danny
She nodded, thinking that he was right. “Maybe after new year’s then. I should be calm by then.” Because then she’d get back into her school routine and have less time to think about how she messed up. The water was boiling so she turned off the heat and poured the water into two cups. She put the tea bags in each and handed Danny his. She waited for the tea to mix with the water. She liked her tea strong. “I do have to thank you. Over and over. You found my children. That deserves eternal thanks. And now this…You’re…my hero, I suppose.”
"I guess I am...", he said reluctant to take the title. "You're not the first to call me that actually.", he tried to laugh it off. He didn't want the hybris to overtake him. He quickly drank his tea no longer wanting to impose on Vero and packed the gun. "I'll take my leave now. See you next year. I hoe it will be a happier year for you.", he gave her a quick friendly awkward half hug before he left.

I don’t know, this stuff about ties sounds pretty bad now. [laugh] You said you came back at least kind of for him; is he less stubborn to you, then? Yeah, I do, or I did. I talk to my mom a few times a year over the phone. But hey, it’s all good now, I’m here aren’t I? Sounds great, just some advice, teaming me up with Batman would sound pretty cool.
I’m just as curious as you are. [smirk] But I’ll figure it out, we’ll both see.
Oh does it though? [smirks] He is less stubborn but still stubborn as a wall. Wow that I guess I can understand I don't really talk to my parents... at all. But it must be even worse when the parent you have is an ass. It might make the whole story a tad unconvincing you know?

Ah, of course. It was a gun for the shooting lessons he told her he’d give her as a Christmas gift. She didn’t know he’d comply so soon, but she supposed the sooner the better. Part of her felt excited. She’d never even held a gun before. Another part of her didn’t want to have anything to do with it. She was just a normal teacher at a high school and that’s all she wanted to be. But she knew she had screwed things up and now she was probably in danger with her ex-husband and his mob. “Right. That makes sense. I…Thank you, Daniel. This really means a lot.” She took the peppermint tea and went to check on the water to distract herself from looking at the gun. Nope, she was not a normal teacher anymore.
"I thought maybe I should bring it over to familiarize you with the basics but you're in no state so I'll take it with me for the time being.",he said and put the gun away. She definitely wasn't a normal teacher she probably wasn't from the moment she got married to a mobster and had children with him. "You don't need to thank me. We clever people have to stick together.", he said not really wanting to say that he felt pity for her. But he actually did. He kept waiting for the tea.

Oh—Oh. Still drunk from New Years, being this honest? [chuckle] Ah, right. That’s tough, then. And I’m still about as useful for advice on it as I was before. But hey, he’ll probably get over it before long. My mom doesn’t, but I don’t see her much. My dad’s just an asshole. Alright, make sure you make up a really good cover story for me if you need to, something that makes me sound really cool.
Hell yeah, it does. You’re gonna be the prettiest luau girl at this school, mark my words. I mean, that doesn’t say much—looks like we’re pretty short on luau girls right now—but it’ll be good, promise. [laugh]
Oh you've seen my worst so why the pretense when we're alone. [winks] Yeah there is no point in advising him he's stubborn. He just needs to make mistakes and learn from them. Let's hope so. So you live with your father? Wow if he's an asshole then that sucks. Just leave it to me if there should be the case that you require a cover story I will come up with something amazing.

Yeah, and I’m just not enough of a dork to buy one just to wear around my head to parties. Almost, but no. I couldn’t say, not sure I’ve even met the kid yet, let alone know what made them break up. My dad…Wouldn’t let me go, if he knew. Alright, good then. Not too surprising, with how chill this place is, but still. Don’t want my ass to be grass if I come back and there’s a search out for me.

I didn't exactly mean wearing it around your head more like around your wrists. [smiles] I think his secret was revealed and he didn't want to be out and shit. Yeah, that’s how I always felt, even if a miracle happened and I started understanding my classes more. Getting up early, wearing ties, all wrap up into my personal brand of hell. The artist’s life was made for me. [laugh] Right, right, I definitely got that. Yeah, Alec told me, but sounds like he’s still trying to work things out. Wait…I have to tell them? …Do you think the school would notice if I just took the days off as sick days?
I—Yeah, sure. [chuckle] Yep, I can make you look all tribal. Or just like a luau girl, depending on how good I do them. It’ll be funny either way.

I get to back if I want to but I kinda realized in those two days there that I don't want to lead an academic's life. I could easily just get a job somewhere after graduating and that's what I'm going to do. Yeah but I'm not people. Yeah the guy I told you about he was with did break it off after all. I'm looking forward to those texts. Just gotta ask your parents if it's okay to leave.
It's okay it's a Christmas present it would be weird if you got used to getting them. Oh so I'm going to be wearing exotic flower design on my body.

She headed into the kitchen took out a small saucepan, immediately putting about two cups of water in it. She put it on the stove and began to heat it up. Then she looked in one of the cabinets and took out a box with assorted tea bags. “Here, pick the one you want,” she said as she handed Danny the box. She saw that he’d brought a bag with him and wondered what was in it. Maybe he’d brought her a gift. Though the only gift she wanted at the moment was her kids and unless Danny’s bag worked like Mary Poppins’ she doubted they were in there.
He picked out the peppermint tea, he liked the fresh taste of peppermint tea. "Thank you.", he said to her noticing how her gaze went to his present for her. He can tell her now anyways. "I brought you a gun. And I want to teach you hot to use it, just so you're on the safe side you know?", he really didn't want her to be in danger just because she missed her kids. "You had every right to talk to your kids and you still have to. So I think you should learn to defend yourself and maybe one day just go and find them."

I did. I wouldn't bottom like ever. I just don't think I would you know? I'm still kinda thinking of myself as straight. I wouldn't be able to do that if I bottomed.

She leaned into him, just letting herself go. It had been a long time since she’d truly hugged someone. Not just a regular hello/goodbye hug, or a haven’t-seen-you-in-so-long hug, but a true hug. One of pure emotion. Of absolute impulse. One that she never wanted to let go from. And she just sobbed into him. He’d spent time looking for her kids for her out of the kindness of his heart and she repaid him by ruining it all. She was exactly back where she started except it would probably be worse now. Killian would probably make sure the kids were untraceable. When she finally could cry no longer, she let go oh him. “Would you uh…like some water or tea or something?”
He just stood there hugging her doing or saying nothing until she let go of him. He politely nodded his head before he took a seat. "Some tea would be really nice.", he replied hoping she would get herself something she could need it. He put the bag with the gun her got her next to him not wanting to give it to her before she at least calmed down.

Hold up, seriously? Okay, way too many surprises in this conversation, my mind’s going to overload. [laugh] What happened to crazy prodigy college work? Because…You just show up here suddenly, offering me a trip for a week in Hawaii because I complained about the cold. That doesn’t just happen.
But…I have to owe you something for this, I can’t just take it, this must have cost a ton. Though I can just take the Sharpies, I’m still not that giving. [teasing smirk]
Yeah I decided I could be a prodigy later in life you know. You only get to be in High School twice once.,Plus Alec was in a bad place when i left I felt uneasy. Oh well but it did just happen. Just be happy about it and don't question it. Sometimes good things do happen. And you don't owe me anything. My gifts come condition free.
Forget about the money, money, money. You should put those sharpies to good use then.
