Love how the reworked interior turns out. Sorry, but I hate the vanilla interior so much, that I have obligation to modify it
Love the rims (taken from Cortina model) but I'm afraid it gonna causing lags in game 🙁 (I wonder how Fresh Prince pulled this out-highly detailed rims without causing lags in game 🤔)
Reusing base texture from previous model. I found it easier to work this way-both in texture placements and UV mappings 😊

First, I'd like to apologize for my long absence, since I've been busy with day jobs and other real life shenanigans 😖
Second, I finally gather enough confidence to upload my first CC. I made this cc due to the scarcity of ordinary cars from 1970s-1980s era in game which suited my lower middle class play style (not that ugly BG hatchback and Big Lemon, please!).

This car has everything luxurious for 1981 standard. 368 cu electronic injection V8 producing mighty power of 145 HP, total body rustproofing with seven stage chemical dip and five layers of anti-rust coatings, pillow-soft velour interior, reliable (we promise) digital indicators, and simulated wood grain panels galore! With 20 mpg (8.6 km/l) fuel economy, this car is a solid good urban cruiser and highway bruiser, and rock solid investment (you could resell it in 1991 with very little depreciation in value!) 👍👍👍

This cc is still in beta stage, But have been tested in game with no problem found so far. Let me share you some preview. unfortunately, I forgot to capture the in-game preview and I'm currently being unable to fire up my game.. 😮💨
Here's the download link, size is only 2.6 mb, so it hopefully won't taxing your PC too much and causing lag. It has two color channel, the body and the interior, so you could customize it to your liking. Feel free to tell me if you encounter any problems with this cc!

Turned The Brightmore into 1980s-Scarface style nightclub (supernatural hangout), complete with period appropriate outfit for the mixologist..

First, I would like to apologize for my radio silence..
Second, after many studies, tinkering, and reverse engineering attempts, also fixing all the parts with wrong mesh normals (I should credit Fresh-Prince and Understrech Imagination for their wonderful works) I finally managed to solve the sims 3 cc vehicle specular and rigging issues...
Now just a little more works to get done, particularly this small left hand placement (the butts are sitting comfortably on the seat, and the legs on the floor too)
And this weird tire textures (perhaps I forgot to change the alpha in the blender model before exporting? And should I change the tire mesh to be the smoother ones, or was it caused by the texture and uv coordinate issues? 🤔)
Also this one, the weird, graffiti-like texture on LOD 2... Likely to be a carryover from the model's old alpha textures, because I frankensteined the old wheel, and glass group with new body, chassis, and interior group on milkshape... Or perhaps I should export the model untextured? (on the other words, I knew this was supposed to be the 80s... But come on, this is a private car in use, neither abandoned, nor a decrepit public transport lol 😅😅)
Last night, Back to work again (this is a test car, BTW, not yet the final product)

Hi, hi! I'm still alive and I'm back. Unfortunately my old laptop didn't, so I have to get a new one and recover all the old data into new laptop. Anyway, my data survives, and now I'm returning back to work. Anyway....

Porting a custom cars into Sims 3 means you're acknowledging that constant tweaking of bones, material groupings, and in-game testings of bones, materials, and LOD are necessary before releasing it to public...
Speaking about releasing cc, since my last post about sims 4t3 cc tv was warmly received, I'm in the process of creating an SFS account (currently waiting for the verification process). Once I get the SFS account done, I will happily share my CC with you, fellow Simmer! :)

Introducing my Sim, Anne
A little information about my world, My character Anne, is a non conventional urban witch who lives in late 70s-early 80s Starlight Shores.
She prefers to wear whatever available in clothing stores instead of wearing typical witches' outfit, she prefers her car over magic broom (because magic broom will make you miserable on rainy and snowy days); she's nearsighted and wearing thick glasses, she has a chubby orange cat familiar named Prentice, instead of typical black cat; and while occasionally she turns people into toads, she's basically a good natured but socially awkward witch who prefers to restrain from casting spells to other sim.
I'm intending to make her meet a man and grow a family, but I still haven't yet decided whether her man would be a wealthy corporate executive, a successful surgeon, a socially awkward scientist, or a guy who secretly a mob boss :p
Anne works in level 3 writer career. Besides being a freelance writer, she also keeps a small garden where she grows fruits, vegetables, and potion ingredients for sale, and where she keeps chickens and bees for honey and eggs

Suit jacket by @nectar-cellar , pants by me, converted from store convoy pants with new uv and textures (not yet released-still being tested)
Another shot, this time is full body to make sure the fitting's fine before textures and bones-n-morphs work. Pants and shoes are separate meshes, so you'll be able to mix and match!
