These photos were taken at Suppa restaurant in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia for the #PHLDinnerParty. A fellow “Philly Food Scener,” as I like to call it, arranged a dinner party for a bunch of people involved or in love with the Philadelphia food scene.
I was so excited to have been invited! As I am relatively new to the area, meeting people and exploring newer, further from me parts of Philadelphia have been a bit challenging, but time is of the essence.
Everyone there was super friendly, the food was delicious, and I got to meet the chefs and owners of the restaurant. One of the chefs was a season 19 Chopped champ on Food Network. I guess geeking out about that is something only someone deeply in-love with food, food culture and the food scene would do. #SorryNotSorry #FoodGeek
As I always believe, food brings people together. I was eating dinner in a small restaurant with 25 other strangers from a million different backgrounds. Some of whom I will definitely be seeing again! Keep on smiling, keep on eating, keep on shining.
